One of the great things about living in Cornwall are the beaches. One of the worst things is having a four year old with a tidal death wish. I just spent an hour hoisting him from the waves and now sciatica, that old rebuking friend, has coiled itself about my lower left back and stings me to the inner sanctum of my ankle. Only thing to do is to neck some diclophenic, put my feet up, ignore the rampaging children, and watch the game.

Unlucky mate.

Llorente is a waste of space and why not have Eriksen for Sanchez on the bench? Other than that happy with the side.

Very happy with the selected team. Good look at Lucas, and more minutes for Alderweireld, Wanyama, and Winksy. Essentially, it’s a strong team, but Poch has taken full advantage of the opportunity. Looking forward to this.

Would've liked KWP to start at RB but not the end of the world and otherwise nice team, hoping for a debut goal for Lucasssssss

Did think what with the turnaround on pitch-gate that Poch might have reverted to a stronger looking lineup but pleased he's utilising the likes of Foyth, Winks etc for extra game time and certainly a team strong enough to win this handsomely so long as mentally we are at the races.

Son and Moura could be explosive today but I really want to be seeing some fire in Llorente's belly because he's already in last chance saloon as far as an awful lot of us fans are concerned.

I would advise Arcoxia. Much more effective.

Would rather have seen KWP than Trippier.
As I said in the team thread - I think this is just bad luck for KWP - but Trippier needs the minutes to stay sharp, and, for this season, that is more important. And Rose needs to build fitness on the other side.

I think this summer will be a crossroads for Spurs and KWP - I don't think he should stay here as a 5th FB next season - either he goes out on loan, or we end up selling someone in front of him.

Excited to see Lucas play. Not greatly happy to see both Sissoko and Llorente personally but I'll be more than happy to have them prove me wrong. I think there might be enough spark around them for them to feed off unlike the last time. Would have liked Lamela in there too to kind of knit the play together in the absence of Eriksen but hopefully we can still play some fluid football today.

I'd have gone with that line-up, but Lamela in at No.10 instead of Sissoko. You'd hope that team gets the job done though.
