For anyone who doesn't know, our Europa league opponents are playing tonight in the copa italia quarter final and its live on sky sport (ko 7:45). Might be worth a look to see what we're coming up against and how they shape up without Cuardado.

Finished 0-2 to Fiorentina. Clearly improved in the second half but Roma were piss poor and Fiorentina weren't much better. Looked slow and lethargic at the back (a back three with non existent wing backs) and had no pace going forward which will obviously be there with the addition of Salah.

Just checked the UEFA website and it would appear he can't play. Presuming he played in the CL for Chelski?

I've seen them a few times this season. They're a bit hold and cold but I really don't see too much to worry about. Fazio will be on big Mario Gomez anyway, a good battle that.

Roma were very poor tonight, so wouldn't read too much into it.

Shouldn't be. He played for Chelsea in the CL against SP Sporting on both Dec 10 2014 (started) and Sep 30 2014 (83 min sub on)

Yeah I thought the same but he's on their official squad list according to Fiorentina official website.
