According to the spanish newspaper ADN, Ronaldihno passed some medical exam last night concluding to: football is over for Ronnie!
That might explain why Milan AC stopped suddenly all transfer negotiation.
hoax?

That would mean he either failed or is becoming a doctor.

Pretty sure that Milan suddenly stopped because Barca wanted too much money. Also I would be very surprised if Ronaldinho is going to quit football at his age to become a doctor. Mabe when he retires

He has got the same injury that has been keeping him out since a month or so ago. It was a medical to see whether he would be able to play in Barca's last game at the Camp Nou as a way of saying good bye to the fans but he won't be able too because of this injury. Milan pulled out coz Laporta wants £24 mill.

It's quite interesting that Laporta wanted £24m, surely someone would take a punt on that in today's climate, Shevchenko was £30m, and Ronaldinho has got sooo much talent. There must be a couple of managers with the budget to take him to their clubs, and have the confidence to deal with the personal issues.

But he'll want 140k wages a week. That really is a punt. And while he'll make the money back on shirts, no one in the CL positions (or even just outside) can afford a passenger anymore. I still think he's better than that, but if he did turn out not to cut it on the pitch, it could screw the whole team up. It's a medium sized risk.

If Ramos sees it beneficial to the team and is confident of coaxing him back to something like 80% of his former self; Levy can try some of his inventiveness in negotiations like a basic salary of 90k and lots of incentives. Then who knows it can't happen.

Quite right, Nick. But what if he's shit? Or at least not as good as Steve Mallbrank? Do we play him because he's Ronal-fuckin-dinho? Or because he'll shift a few (thousand) shirts? Or because we'd be paying him a fortune to sit on his arse? Or worse still would the sponsors of his additional wages demand that he played? Could we afford that luxury? Can anyone?

As I say, a medium-sized risk.

At his age he'd have to have two broken legs to be enough to make him call it a day through injury.
