Would you have him at the lane?

If he gets back to the form he showed at Blackburn I think he'd be a great cheap addition for the second half of the season.

Discuss.

No thanks. Too injury prone and is most definately not the top centre forward everyone on here knows that we need.

I remember seeing him for Blackburn at the Lane once. I dont know if they ahd a man sent off, but he was upfront on his own and very isolated, but he should a tremendous first touch and awesome strength, which resulted in some great hold up play.

I would like to see him at the Lane but, and its a big but, he would need a consistent run of games that a) would be hard because of his proneness to injury and b) would be hard because of the amount of competition.

Nah. Get the impression that his form season at Blackburn was the exception not the rule. Very injury prone too. We can do better.

Will probably start the January transfer window trying to buy players like torres..
But end up with Santa Cruz with 5mins to spare at the end of the window.

11 seasons, 56 goals. 5.09 goals a season.

How many has Van der Vaart scored in 2 and a half months from an attacking midfield position?

Come to think of it, how many has our left winger scored this season?

Will be on massive wages and is too injury prone. At his best could be a decent option but he hasn't been too prolific throughout his career.

I think Harry would be more likely to sign Michael Owen
He won't move down South because of his horse racing stables and racinig business.

It leaves him with little northern ooptions really, in the Premiership and he's as good as said he won't step down to the Championship.

I really do think that Owen will retire from football if he doesn't get an extension of contract at Manchester Utd.

Personally though, I'd still have him at Spurs, in the same role as at Untied - bench and fifteen / twenty minute cameos.
