I think hes done well so far this season..just hope he don't get injured or anything if he does actually play any minutes..is it just 1 game or 2 internationals during the break? Stupid time to have them in my opinion

It just shows the lack of depth of quality in the English game. Fabian Delph is another Reo Coker. I think Chambers in the long run will be the only one out of those four who will have a decent England Career.

I think that it would be pretty mean-spirited not to want to pat the boy on the back and say, 'well done!'. He seems to have upped his game a little so far this season, which is good to see.

I think it will do him good. As he'll have a coach when he gets back that'll bring him back down to earth if he gets to cocky (replace him with Davies basically).

I do like seeing 4 spurs players in the u21 squad though. Promising signs for the future.

Friendly against Norway, then Euro qualifier against Switzerland.

Glad for Danny, although whether he plays is another thing.

With Cole retired and Shaw injured/unfit, Rose could be next in line after Baines. Without meaning to be harsh on the lad, if he gets games in the qualifiers then its a troubling sign of a lack of depth in English football.

On the selfish side, I don't want any of our 1st team squad involved with England which will go nowhere in the next 10 years.

Kieran Gibbs should be above Shaw anyway. If he wasn't perpetually injured, he would deserve to be second choice.

No, but he's not shit like most on here have been saying.

Because he got an England call up? Or because Roy Hodgson says so? :bored:

Do you not see a glaring hole in the logic of "he plays for England therefore he is not shit"?

Let us not forget that Roy Hodgson thought that Paul Konchesky would be the solution to Liverpool's left back problems.

good on Rose getting into the squad, he wasn't great last season but really there were not many who were. The season before at Sunderland though he was their best player. So far this season he has looked a lot calmer on the ball and has been pulling off some good passing and control which he never showed before, i can only assume Poch and the rest of the coaches have been changing his habits .

No. He's not not shit because he's got an England call up. He's not shit because he's not a shit player. He's been one of our best players thus far. Some will remain to be set in their nonsensical ways it would seem.
