Interesting how football throws players from different cultures together. A young black northern lad like Danny, who I imagine is from a humble background, and an even younger Argentinian (where there are no blacks) from a middle class family who thanks to their mutual employer become firm and fast mates. As others have said I just love the togetherness that now exists between the players in light of our shared passion………..to see Spurs at the very top.
Thanks Mauricio.

True, this tweet summed it up best.

Football brings people together. Without it the only way Vardy & Mahrez would link up is a racially motivated assault outside a night club

Yes, and also the fact that he watches Davies when Davies is playing to see how he (Rose) can improve. That acknowledgement was both unexpected and impressive

It's like when you hear stories from academy players when they start training with the first team trying to learn everything they can. That willingness to learn from your own competition is the kind of mentality that makes great players

Both have great ability but these two are probably my two favourite players for how chewy they are on the pitch - always getting stuck in and winding up opponents support. As others have said great to hear Rose welcome competition and willing to learn from Davies' strength.

It's quite refreshing to hear him say that he's not sure this is the best team he's played with (although best togetherness). It's almost disappointing that he's said that when in fact he's just being completely honest with regards to Bale, Modric & vdV etc. The fact we are where we are with all the young players we have just shows how hard they've worked and how much team spirit there is.

I'd take this kind of side over superstar individuals all day long, though in an ideal world, a mixture would be perfect considering we'll be playing CL football *almost certainly* next season and will be able to attract big big names.

Danny Rose and Eriksen are two most intelligent characters in our team. Both of them always speak well.

I feel like we do have a mixture right now. Lloris, Alderweireld, Dembele, Eriksen and Kane all genuine stars.

I reckon a lot of them believe we can do it... including Poch. In fact that's where the belief and trust in the squad all starts from, and I think that away from the cameras they are focused on that title, and that alone. The reaction from the squad and coaches in front of the traveling support at the Etihad spoke volumes.

I already believe in this team, but get through this next two games with 6 points, and I genuinely think its ours to lose.
