Someone said something on the radio this morning that made me start wondering. Back when i was a lad, Spurs in the cup meant ribbons on my bike handlebars, home-knitted hats and scarves, big wooden rattles and home-made rosettes. Whilst the ribbons are occasionally resurrected for the international team or whatnot, as are the hat/scarves still about, and i understand that them rattles could easily brain someone (got my grandads one at home), but what ever happened to rosettes?
I would post more pictures but, after spending ages hunting for pics, i now understand that Getty Images* now own the 1970's, all black and white media and every single image with a f*cking rosette in it.
*Getty Images - utter, utter, utter ****s. F*ck you Getty & Klein and all the sellout **** photographers and photo agencies that are happy to slurp your corporate cocks n massage your financially padded gooch for a few quid here and there. You can't "own" a memory but it appears you're determined to copywright as many aspects of it as possible, right?
I hope there's a radiation leak at the Getty HQ, requiring immediate containment and quarantine and you're all sterilized instantly, save the world having to cope with the risk of any offspring of yours being as ****ish as you are.
Please note, all views expressed in this are specifically of the author - me - and do not reflect the wonderful Spurscommunity's view on the subject.
Though to be fair, i know a lot of them and, mostly, they think you're a bunch of ****s too.
