Can't carry passengers, seasons hard enough. Just doesn't make sense to concentrate all our efforts into a player who's going to be out for 3 months.
This makes no sense. Better get rid of Lamela, Rose, Toby, Harry....who else has been injured for significant periods? He is a young guy that we hope to develop....you don't make a transfer decision solely on whether his hamstring is currently pulled when you expect that he will be a long term asset.

It's not all our efforts - We've signed two players and could well sign another 2-3 in addition to Barkley to improve the squad.

Barkley has the potential to be a top player and long term International if he gets the proper coaching. Definitely worth signing even if he can't play for a few months. I think we might give him a 5 year contract rather than a three month one.

Sorry but how do you know he is out for 3 months ? Nothing said by Everton and the only 'information' on Barkley's supposed injury as far as I am aware comes from the article in the Mail. No other original source as far as I am aware.
He has a grade 3 hamstring injury, a injury that is not recoverable in a few weeks. And the only reason Levy hasn't put a bid in for him is because he's using it to help drive the price down. Why bother just move on !!

Where is this 3months out coming from?
Didn't Trix say Barkleys camp kept saying it's a minor issue? No news from Everton about the injury since first statement about wainting for MRI 13 days ago...

202 pages talking about whether he may or may not be the right player for Spurs :ROFLMAO: Bet there's nothing that hasn't been said before. Don't take it the wrong way, but I reckon the club have made up their minds.

If he was going to do the business city or united or Chelsea would have taken him already. Sorry not for me

Do you think that United, City and Chelsea have better managers and scouts woth greater foresight (and insight) on young players than us? If they do they haven't used those skills for quite some time. So I don't buy you argument for a minute, that if he was worth taking a punt on then they would have done business.

I respect that your not keen, but that particular argument is a poor one in my view.
