Bald head?? Are you six?

The trophies will come, until then I'll enjoy going into the final few games with the results still mattering.

Who do you think we should have signed that our rivals have signed to improve our first team? Because at those prices, on those wages, they better fucking waltz into our first team and dramatically improve us.

Fair warning: everytime you roll out that bullshit 'who do you think we should have signed that our rivals have signed' argument, I'm going to spam you.

How about asking why we haven't signed any of our main targets: Barkley, Lemar, Perraria or Foyth? While all the time our rivals continue to strengthen their squads with the players they've targeted.

Barkley: Everton
Lemar: ££££££
Pereira: ££
Foyth: 20% sell-on clause or 6 month loan (both rumours), and £

Is that a list of our top targets then?

we need another creative player with Lamela and Son being out. First half today was painful without Eriksen.

Just going by Tottenham's Top ITK, Mr Jet Set, I'd venture to say they're definitely up there.

If you're going by JJ you'll know that Lemar was asking for ridiculous money and seemingly Arse have also failed in that one.
Pereira I don't think JJ has ever mentioned but it seems clear Poch is giving KWP a fair chance to impress and I would rather he did that.
Foyth has never been mentioned by JJ and we still have Wimmer, so unless he goes I can't see anyone else coming in.

Barkley is seemingly pending Everton signing Siggurdson.

Fair warning, every time you 'spam' me, I will report you for 'spamming' until you are banned from this part of the site.

1. You know they are our main targets how? Did Pochettino rell you himself?

2. Last time I checked the transfer window was still open for another month and a bit.

3. Assuming they are our main targets, have any of them gone elsewhere yet?

4. Why is my argument bullshit? Im not suggesting we don't need signings, just asking those who complain about our rivals signings which of those players we should have gone for as the implication is that we have missed out.

5. Have you managed to enjoy the wonderful football, consistent progression and exciting players synonymous with our club over the past 12.5 years (since Jol took charge basically)? Because I've only ever seen you whinge and bitch about this regime despite this being the best time to support our club by far since roughly 1987.

Nothing isn't going to happen transfer point until at the earliest Tuesday in my book.
From the 1st you'll probably see a more pro active approach.

I hope so but sounds like they have gone in with a big bid again today so they may well get him still.

JJ hinting something on Twitter again....no itk thread open though!!

I don't think you could make anything out from what he is saying. He responded to Neil Eatson but I can't see what he put as his account is private.

Don't know about that. Pretty sure there are players on that list that we haven't heard about yet. All JJ has done is confirm we have varying degree's of interest in the few you mentioned because the press have caught wind and are running stories on them. None of those players fit with his Ice cream hints for instance.

Your argument is nonsense because you (very smugly) assume that just because our rival’s signings are either a) unattainable, or b) not good enough, that this somehow excuses our inertia throughout this window.

The point, that you don’t want to face up to for some bizarre reason, is that they have strengthened and we haven’t. On the contrary, we actually sold the best RB in the league to a direct rival ffs!

You can continue to twist and spin that, and pretend like it doesn’t matter, that none of those players would get into our first team anyway (not even our actual first choice right back), but the indisputable fact is that we’ve stood still, nay regressed, while our rivals have strengthened.

Apparently you’re over the fucking moon with that. Good for you, but I was hoping after two exceptional seasons we might, y’know, back the manager a bit? Make a final push to get some silverware? Right now we’re going down the same old route, hoping to get a last minute bargain because we’re too fucking tight to pay the going rate for talented footballers. It’s a joke, and so are you for dressing it up as anything less.

And yet you assume that we are not backing our manager because we have yet to make signings. I can't speak about the other targets but Barkley is very much wanted by MP, and he is not yet available no matter what we do(JJ has also said it's not our fault). The thought is that he will be, given time, so are we not backing the manager by playing the game that is necessary in order to bring him in?

This believe it or not could be the case for others we are trying to get as well. When you are not at the top of the food chain, and don't have a training ground surrounded by money tree's, sometimes you have to wait to bring in another teams star player because they need to replace them first.

As for Walker, that was very much backing the manager, whether you like it or not.

i think the lack of activity is purely down to poch
If he wanted a player i am sure levy would get him
he wanted to sell walker, and at the moment rightly or wrongly he is waiting
think it will be Barkley and a right back and that may be it

No "money trees", Trix! What about the world record fee for Walker? £50 million is hardly a Japanese bonsai! Or the the further £30 million from the sales of Carroll, Bentaleb, Fazio, and N'Jie? Or the £142 million in TV revenue/prize money? Not a bad little orchard to harvest eh?
