Just an idea but to help with wing cover, he is on a free.

Wondering what the thoughts of others are on this? I know we more than likely won't sign anyone now, but just thought this could be an interesting low risk option. He seemed to do pretty well whilst on loan at Everton last season

Maybe wages too high, maybe didn't want him because he didn't suit their style. I don't know, for some reason I couldn't get into contact with Moyes to ask him!

I heard he's a bit of a nutcase. Disciplinary problems, not following instructions on the pitch etc... On his day he's exciting. Wouldn't want him though.

I'd definitely take him on a free despite his attitude problems, the guy obviously has talent and considering we really lack back up for the wings I'd say he'd be ideal.

Wages might have been a problem. I'd imagine he was on a fair bit at Real, with Everton only paying a percentage. His wage demands might be too much for Everton now, even on a free.


I'd definitely take him on a free, looking at how poor our options from the bench were on Saturday. We only really have Parker and Dempsey to come back in to the squad...

Yeh good point about the wages. But I'm not sure he is a bit of a Gio. Loads of talent but rarely shows up for me.

On the phone, your username looks like 'big bear lol' which made me think you laugh at your own jokes. On that basis I didn't want to sign him. Then I realised it was 'big bear jol' and now I'm ok with signing him.
