totally agree nidge, giggs and scholes will play less games over the next year or 2 but wont go elsewhere, once they finish with united they will have finished with playing football, not like they need the money after all and to be objective spurs is a step down from man u, there motivation probably wouldnt be there, personally i think giggs legs are already going which is why SAF used him more sparingly last year, he should prob retire soon so fans remember him as the great player he was,.

Giggs leaving United, is like King leaving Spurs, Gerrard or Carraragh leaving Liverpool....I don't see it happening because there one man to one club players.

Apart from when Gerrard almost signed for Liverpool's rivals (Chelsea) and only canceled at the last second due to fears about his family's safety.

Not at all relevant to the thread but since you mentioned it, I've been thinking the same thing. In Mascherano, Alonso and Sissoko Liverpool have three quality DM's. He's the only player in the premiership who we could replace Carrick with. I would be keeping a close eye.
