Great interview, seems like a smart lad. Prioritising playing and having a fair shot at a starting spot wherever he is.

Excited to have him back, I almost wish he and Reguilon weren't on the same side of the pitch, to have them left and right we'd be sorted for fullbacks. I think we're extremely fortunate to have these 2 developing at LB. I'm a big fan of Sessegnon, I don't think he's your typical fullback who has outstanding athleticism, I think he's quite intelligent with his runs, the crosses he makes, I think his greatest weapon seems to be his decision making. I think him as the extra man on an attack will prove very beneficial. It's nice to hear him speak so confidently as he seemed to lose that playing for us.

Id try to fit them both on that left side. Whilst Son is always going to be number 1 as the left-sided forward, we may be able to switch it up and put Son on the right with Sess on the left.

Then have Reguilon making overlaps/underlaps, which may give Sess the space to pick up scraps like he was doing for Fulham.

I'm quite surprised we haven't seen Bergwijn in that LW position more with Son on the right. As you say though plenty of option on that left side though to vary things.

What a great, mature interview. If this is anything to go by, then we should consider tying up with a German club to send our top young prospects to them that are almost ready for first team.

I really can't wait to see Ryan back and how he has developed.

The pandemic will probably force some clubs hands with youngsters as they just won’t afford to buy new players.
