A lot of depends on how 3-4-3 fares next season. A lot of people think that teams will try to go with two strikers against it next season, and a lot of teams will stop using it. If we still find it effective then Sessegnon could end up being a potent wing back.
Two strikers alone wouldn't do it. Because Dembele and Wanyama sit so close to the CBs there are still passing options. You would then need to have an athletic pressing central midfield eg Liverpool. But then you open yourself up to the long diagonal which plays into our hands, especially if we get some threat in behind this transfer window.

Agree- a single striker against this formation works well because the third CB becomes surplus to requirements, allowing an overload in midfield or out wide. A 433 or 4231 usually does the trick, though against better opposition most teams try to match formations, hence it likely to become more prolific in the next few years. As a formation it emerged to counter the 442, a formation Leicester won the league with last year so possibly it both neutralises a 442 and a 4231 by splitting the CBS with a CDM that drops into CB when needed.

Wouldn't worry about them, we are a far more attractive option for this type of transfer.

I have to disagree, to a point. It all depends on what he wants more, money or development. If it's money he'll go to man ure, if he's taken note of our youngsters' development over yhe past two seasons and wants a piece of it, it'll be us, also we don't know what his agent's motives are.

Saw a Utd fan on the web saying how he wished they had a Harry Kane,
I said you've got Rashford, he just needs game time.
He replied that JM won't give him the time, he'll buy a big name instead.

Why would a youngster want to go there to grow as a footballer?
