Cant find the link - but I think it was @JJetset responding to a comment that Rose wouldn't be interested in leaving. His response was something like "No?". I read that to mean that Rose would be interested in leaving if he got a good offer from a Club and, in this case, it was Man Utd.

Perhaps you (or someone else) can remember the comment and/or find the link...

When I was 17 I invited a few friends over for a few drinks after my parents went away on holiday, we were drinking straight vodka and at about midnight we decided to go for a drunken wonder round the streets. My mate thought it would be a good idea to take a dump on someone's car, as he was doing it the owner of the car came steaming out of his house and chased us with my mate running away with his shorts and pants by his knees. Fuck it was funny.
It might be very funny for all of you but my fucking car stank for days!

Searched Jjetsets posts. I see nothing regarding Rose.

Rose has had a knee op. He would fail a medical at the moment. I don't think anyone is going to spunk 40M quid on an invalid. They will want to see him running and tackling first in a competitive game.

Good point. But then that's what medicals are for - to see if a player is completely fit. Of course a game situation would confirm or deny his recovery from the operation.

It's strange that Man Utd would be interested in him s they are well-stocked with left backs: Rojo, Shaw and Blind are all quality players. So why would they want Rose? And why would they want Sessegnon for that matter? If Sessegnon were to join Man Utd he's probably get lost in the shuffle. Terrible decision if Sessegnon and his advisors opt for that move...

Ah that. Yeah I remember it now. I read that as "No he isn't going. Why, what have you heard?"

I read that as being "No?" as in "Really?". If he wasn't going anywhere he wouldn't have included the question mark. Of course @JJetset could clear this all up with another post.

Well, no. He was asked the question:

"He's not going anywhere is he?"

"No?"

That's not the same as someone making a statement and him casting doubt on it:

"Rose is going nowhere"

"No?"

One of my classier acts at 17 was to drunkedly rampage through the sleepy villages of West Sussex in the small hours shouting "kettle on, toast in, tits out" through letter boxes. It was literally a blood sport; got my nose broken once by an angry middle aged builder. He thought I was demanding to see his tits. I may have pushed him over the edge when I informed him it was his wife's jubblies I was only interested in seeing but I didn't object to him making tea and toast. Wild times

Just sounds like a normal night in Littlehampton to me
Although some get really offended as the wife is also their sister

Sorry. Can't agree with you. Here's how I see it:

"He's not going anywhere is he?"

"Really? Just wait and see."

JJ randomly puts a '?' after statements. Not sure why but definitely something he does so nothing to read into this, pretty sure he means 'no, as far as I know' type thing

The only clear thing to me is that the ITK in question (deliberately?) did not say anything conclusive on the matter. Then it's up to each of us to interpret/assume base on our own ability/lack of ability to do so.
