We are an absolute no brainer for a kid like sessegnon.when you look at bale Kane dele .why would you anywhere else we are an easy sell to a kid .(that actually sound s bit wrong haha but you know what I mean )

Thing that struck me the most was his physical strength for 16 was insane will be an absolute beast when fully mature .And almost has that dembele like gift of being able to just glide past people without looking to have amazing pace .In fact he could grow into a CM .very hard to know what his best position will be

I know you did. You're wrong. He hasn't even played in the Premier League, nor full international. There's no way you can compare them. He's a 17 year old kid that shows great potential. To say he's a better left back than Ben Davies, who spent a good deal of our season playing in the best defence in the league is quite frankly, nonsense.

However, to play devils advocate, most people would have scoffed at the notion of Dele Alli bring better than Bentaleb in summer 2015, and look what happened there.

As I said though, I agree with your opinion. I think it'll take him a couple of years to become a regular in the first team, at which point he'll have been readied to replace Danny Rose.

Has anyone on here actually watched Sessegnon play? Not highlights as in full games?

Went to the Cottage about a month ago with some mates (Fulham vs Brentford), I made sure to pay attention to him as I had a feeling we'd be in for him. He was by far the most dangerous player on the pitch. Played with huge confidence for someone his age, taking players on with ease. Worked hard to track back but definitely isn't as physical as Rose. Was surprised when he came off and Fulham weren't half as threatening once he'd been subbed.

End product isn't 100% there yet as you'd understand, but I can see him creating a lot of chances by stretching defences and creating space for the likes of Eriksen/Alli/Lamela/Son et al.

Think given time he'd flourish in the Rose role in our 3-4-2-1, but would be more skeptical of him as an LB in a 4 man backline.
