Dortmund has lost Dembele for about 100m+ and are definitley in need to sell Aubameyang as he is causing more and more problems.
They might not be bigger at the moment but they need to take care of their remaining key players now so I think this is clearly a no goer.
Regarding Sess to stay at topic, the market went crazy and Fulham know that. If they wait longer the market will be even more crazy maybe. 50m for a prospect of the Championship would be such crazy money, anything over 30 would. But I fear in three years that would not be anything special anymore.
Our board needs to accept the new developping market. I see we always want good value on any deal. But to push on and mess with the big boys to generate more money from tv and marketing you might need to invest a bit over top on players first.
Agree - it's clear the market is inflated and i think in dealing with Sanchez and our supposed interest in Malcolm - we're happy to be dealing in 30-40m for the right prospect - but i feel this is top outlay for us and anything additional will be in add-ons from our perspective (unless somehow we were buying a ready made star).
RS in theory should be in our price range - he's a fantastic prospect, that's absolutely clear but he's in the championship, relatively unproven above that level and he's level headed (i.e. his agent/family don't seem to want £££ to sweeten the pot, it's more about his progress). The risk as you've noted, is the longer we wait, the more likely it is someone will have interest and bid us up. The ITK on this seems to imply we've had open dialogue with Fulham, so hopefully when the time is right we can reach an agreement to benefit all concerned.
