Fantastic player when fit but to big of a risk for him to move to PL while trying to comeback from injury.. PL is very physically demanding not the best idea to move here while recovering.. Shalke, Wolfsburg or Dortmund would be his best option, move back to Germany for a season to get fit then move to PL.

I would have loved this at start of season but now with Bentaleb and Mason's development plus others like Winks in the wings I wouldn't want their development stunted.

Stambouli also provides decent back up so think we need to concentrate on wide attacking areas and centre back / striker cover.

I agree....I would say striker/winger/CB would be the more pressing issues for us to address.

I wouldn't be upset if we were to get Khedira but I also don't think it is an even remotely realistic transfer......can't see us chasing him, can't see us paying £150k+ a week in wages and can't see him wanting to play for a team that doesn't have CL.

Would imagine someone like Wolfsburg would jump at the chance to bring Khedira into the fold and pair him with Gustavo behind Schurrle, De Bruyne etc.....and they have the money to pay the salary on top of it.

how is his wages at Madrid, gotta be in the 150k-200k bracket easily, we cant afford that and hes not worth it imo, theres a reason clubs haven't signed him yet
