Such a shame to get injured again and the manner in which it happened leaves me to say Spurs were right to sell him. A real pro would like after themselves better and not get carried away in a training ground like this. I hope he's fit enough to destroy our opponents soon then slips over in the shower the night before the next Spurs game. I want him playing for them and helping them take points from others around us. (Also IIRC we get bonus payments attached to appearances?)

The guy has nothing between his ears. It's amazing he's a copa libertadores winner. We absolutely mugged them if we got 10 million for him. I can understand why he became a cult favorite at spurs, but not why that status persisted.

He's got something far too few players have these days, a personality. I personally believe that's why support for the national team has plummeted. If England had a team of Sandros we could at least associate with them, seeing Rickie score a goal and the joy it brought to him was a breath of fresh air, the majority of our national teams players may as well be robots IMO.

Sandro wears his heart on the sleeve on the pitch, and is someone likeable off the pitch. I'd take that over a team of personalityless robots just after their paycheck any day of the week, win or lose.

It's such a shame that these aesexuals can get success playing negative tactics against their greatest rivals, success at the cost of glory. Would I swap position with them? Undoubtedly, but I can't help but think I'd have a dirty taste in my mouth.

So, I guess I'm needing lessons in how to stop contradicting myself :cautious:

Glad he's maybe ok. Classic Harry speaking before understanding.

Reminds me of an acquaintance of mine, scored a try at the 1987 RWC (his fourth of the tournament), did a summersault role on scoring it & injured his shoulder so badly he never played sport again

Which is a shame because up until that moment he was the darling of that World Cup. They called him The Black Diamond. He became an alcoholic & died in a car crash a few years later :(

I know Man U are struggling but for the longer term/greater good surely HR needs to give him another week...
