What was the exact injury? Aggro Santos tweeted a while back Sandro has nearly completed phase 1 of rehab.

Acl reconstruction using the patella tendon. Coming up to four months. Id guess hes already cycling and maybe running.

Just made me think how quickly Sandro has become a fan favourite at Spurs. I hope he stays for ages and becomes a legend.

I think everyone loves someone that gets stuck in... and also karate kicks cups in the changing room :D

If the diagnosis said he'll be out for the season, that'll be for the average human being, but this is Sandro we're talking about people, he'll be back sooner...

Had the same op, took a year for it to get back to how it was before.

He'll probably be back for pre-season

Hopefully with our medical staff and physio team / facilities he will benefit from better after care than you were able to get.

I'd love to have him fit again right now as he suits our play much more than Parker.

Hence why he'll be back to normal in 6 months and not twelve.:)

I'm pretty sure the club only said that he had to undergo surgery. They never said he was out for the season or what the injury was.

I'm sure he won't play again this season but only because the papers and people on here say so...

Recovering at Internacional

http://www1.skysports.com/football/...ium=facebook&utm_source=twitterfeed_Tottenham

Tottenham midfielder Sandro is being allowed to work his way back to full fitness in his homeland with the medical staff of Internacional.
The Brazilian suffered a season-ending knee injury in the 0-0 Premier League draw with Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road in January.
He underwent surgery to repair the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee and is now recuperating in South America with his former club.
Sandro, who moved to White Hart Lane in an £8million deal with Internacional three years ago, believes the time spent in the southern hemisphere will aid his recovery.
He told Globo Esporte: "It will help me a lot being in an environment I know.
"Tottenham know Internacional's staff and how they treat the players, so that helped them release me."
