I know we are chasing Bernard.... this we should continue.

However I notice a player from Equador national team Jefferson Montero tearing up Argentine defence last night. Just googled and he plays in local league and cost Eur 4M. That is just one unearthed gem.

In fact I thought he was better than Valancia... which is a joke.

Feel free to contribute other potential players.:)

Fuck it after the convo's in the ITK thread(which I have had to walk away from), I am convinced that Dempsey is the answer. DONE. Signing someone else will be a waste of money as we have to keep him anyway!

Deufoleu
With Neymar coming in he could become unsettled and thus available. He is probably the best player in the Spanish Second division and depending on how Barca shuffle there may not be room for him. The guy would be a great squad addition on the wings or even up front.

Ince
If McEvoy or Pritchard did what Ince did this season we would probably be blowing our loads and begging for them to be promoted to the squad. 18 goals in 42 games from the wing he could be brought and loaned to a PL team for a season for a relatively small fee.

Tello
I know he signed a new contract recently but this guy would be fucking perfect. Worth a cheeky 10-15m bid at the least. With Neymar in (and Deufoleu to contend with) there is an elevated chance that one may be available.

Bring him in, loan him for a season, two if he struggles and move him on if it doesn't work out.

Dont think such precious England starlets can come on loan.... they are slap with a 8M pounds, min.

What about that Andros Townsend fella? Or that guy who was awesome in the Spanish Segunda? Think he's called Iago Falque.

This post is half in jest because we should always be on the lookout for potential, but I do want to see both of these guys given a chance.

Falque isn't good enough and Townsend is better on the right. The post is for FWD/LW

Well he was probably the best player in the Segunda after his loan. Too good for that level. Juve hampered his development, this is well documented. He is a couple of years behind his peers in this respect but his potential remains high. You shouldn't be so quick to write him off.

I don't disagree that he was arguably the best in that division. But best case scenario is he gets a La Liga loan next season. That is still a big step up and he would then be 24.5 years old, time is seriously running out for him. I rate Ceballos, Carroll and Kane higher.

Apparently lots of Sevilla fans want Falque to replace Navas. They are a club of similar stature to us. I just think people always want what they don't have. I'd like to see people give Falque the chance to prove himself. If he hasn't looked up to it by the end of next season I will concede, but it's not unheard of for certain players to develop later than others, and would maybe even be expected in the case of Iago who has had a disrupted development.

First I had heard that and would love it to be true, do you have a link?
