I don't understand why they need our money so early, it's not like they can use it to buy players then.
Plus this season with tickets available on the day of the game on stubhub, for usually below face value, is there much point renewing?

All season ticket prices for the season 2015/16 will be frozen and the renewal date for this will be 30 April 2015.
Season tickets prices for the subsequent season 2016/17 will see an average increase of less than 2%, with Junior (inclusive of U18s) and Senior Citizen tickets frozen for the fourth successive season.
The Club fully recognises the need to keep football affordable and facilitate a fantastic atmosphere in the ground. We also want to acknowledge the tremendous support we receive in all competitions. These price announcements mean that over the past three seasons, years 2014–2017, our ticket prices will have seen an average increase of approximately 0.5% per annum, with no increases for Junior and Senior Citizens.
We have been consciously pricing Cup matches to reward great support and will continue to do so. In addition, family tickets have been a key feature of the packages we have offered in order to attract fans of all ages and to enable young fans to enjoy watching the team live at the Lane.
We should like to thank fans for their unstinting support both at home and away.
