Fuck fuck fuckity FUCK!

So after taking an early 1-0 lead, Juventus were cruising the rest of the game, took the foot of the pedal for most of the second half, and then in the 86th min an absolute howler from Buffon gifted the equaliser for 10 man Lecce and lost us a crucial 2 points at home. With Milan beating Atalanta now the difference is just 1 pt with 2 games to play. Remaining fixtures for both teams:

AC Milan (77 pts):
Inter (V)
Novara (H)

Juventus (78 pts):
Cagliari (V)
Atalanta (H)

Thankfully, it's still in our hands and AC Milan have to beat Inter who are desperate themselves to get that last CL spot and were beaten tonight by Parma. It seems like we're gonna have to do it the hard way with an even higher likelyhood that it will go down to the wire.

I'm still stunned Juventus managed to mess it up last night. Still fancy them to win it, but just adds a bit more pressure to the final 2 games. Looking forward to the Milan derby :)

Juve just gone 2 up, if Milan don't score another goal, Juve win the scudetto tonight.

Ref just give another pen to Inter......3-2 Inter.

Interesting in Serie A for the Champions League places. Napoli dropped down to 6th. Now it is Udinese, Lazio, Inter, Napoli. Lazio and Inter play each other in the next game. Something has to give and there could be a lot of quality players playing in the Europa League next season, especially if Napoli and Inter miss out.

It's got to be Udinese in pole position - they only need a draw at Catania.

Doesn't 4th get a qualification spot though? That'll be tough if it is Inter or Napoli in particular. Could mean a few players on the move as well if they miss out.

No, as of this year only 3 Italian teams qualify (3rd placed team has to go through the qualifiers) - so, yes, could be some very tasty shopping opportunities on the mercato - it already appears Lavezzi will be leaving Napoli, and I can't see Cavani and many of the Inter stars hanging around with no CL...

The Bundesliga got Serie A's fourth spot as of this season due to better results in Europe over the last five years. Exciting stuff!

Yeh then Udinese are the clear favourites. Gazzetta was claiming that Lavezzi is off to Inter but that wouldn't make much sense if they aren't in the CL either. Lavezzi, Cavani, Hamsik, Inler from Napoli would all be interesting (although probably financially unobtainable for us). Maicon, Sneijder etc. from Inter not playing in the CL?

From what he's been saying, Hamsik will stay at Napoli - I've always liked Inler, but not sure he'd dislodge our current CM's, Maggio as wing cover? Would obviously prefer Hazard/Lennon. Samuel from Inter could be a great signing - him and Kaboul would scare the bejesus out of any opposition attack!

Shame Hamsik is staying put, he'd be a goalscoring threat from midfield and has the strength and power to be suited to the Premiership. Lavezzi would be an epic signing as would Cavani, but I see little chance of either. Can't see us signing Samuel though would think he'd stay even without CL and I have a feeling we are looking towards younger CB's to build for the future.
