Im sure many of you have already spouted your anger about Setanta but was so angry just thought i would share my experience.

I had setanta for a while last season and paid the connection fee as well as direct debits for a few months worth of footy...when i cancelled because it was full of gooner games i cancelled it. No problem they said and if you want to come back you wont have to pay the connection fee again.

So i go to sign up for tonights game, and guess what, even though they know i have been a previous customer, i have to pay £ 14.99 for a connection fee again. Now some of you will say im tight and some will say just pay it, but not only have i had my work hours reduced but its also the principal!! No doubt many people pay this and its annoying to say the least.

So to Setanta :hello: you aint getting nothing off me!!

Setanta is flat out AWESOME.

They have shite commentators, shite pregame, shite after game.

But

FOOTBALL FOOTBALL FOOTBALL

ALL the time, loads of games of lovely lovely football. From all over the world.

They are not making money BTW, they are still investing and sometimes pay millions for the privilege to show a single game.

If you like football, get Setanta, (It has been around for years in the USA)

Setanta here in Canada, is fantastic ! I get the two/three games on Saturday and one on Sunds. No connection fee ! Its only CAD 14.99 per month (7.50). Sorry, I have nothing BUT praise for it .

Get it in with my Virgin package so no extra charge. It's got Arsenal TV so you're going to get a lot of Arsenal games! There's a lot of other footy, though.

My brothers just had a bad experience with them, he had it originally then cancelled the subscription, last week he resigned up to them but they said because he had cancelled previousley they would be charging £25 connection fee, now the naughy C letter word comes to mind but I don't wanna get banned again so i'll refrain from saying.

Call up mate and explain the situation. They will sort it out for you. If not, hang up and call again, it's probably just one of our sarky agents.

Between Fox Soccer Channel, Gol TV and Setanta I can literally watch 100 games of football a week. Football is always on in the background.

I keep seeing little surprises, like old Spurs failures playing for MLS teams. Whats his name again...That kid we signed from Arsenal 4 years or so ago on a free? He was playing for an American team and I was like...Hey! LEDGE!!!

He was pretty good too.

He plays for Toronto FC...he's crap. Watched him play vs Montreal Impact this summer. He had Laurent Robert on the other wing.

He's 50 Cent's favourite player apparently.

Jim Brennan who used to play for Norwich is also at Toronto.

I hate setanta - I think they're worse than sky - that scottish **** is actually worse tha jamie redknapp or andy gray and that's not an easy task

the commentator himself cannot stand one bit - they're both ridiculously anti-spurs

as for the pundits - well I turned it off straight after the game - cos after the disgrace of monday's shit about ramos and the rest of it didn't want to risk my blood pressure

Les Ferdinand and Tim Sherwood were the pundits tonight and were honest and forthright in their opinions of our start to the season.

Sherwood going on to say we need players who want to win the ball and play simple winning football before the Modric and Gio type players get filtered in once we are winning - in other words his personal style of play.

I'd go along with that. tonight I would say that not one of our players got a dirty socks and a grass burn from going in horizontal on a tackle - we were far too fragile in midfield.

That setanta commentary is a disgrace. anti spurs in the extreme for instance "this sums up spurs" after goal and "there's minute left, enough time for spurs to lose a lead"
