Seriously, fuck off Tim.

Can't wait to watch Spurs again with a bit of hope and belief in my belly rather than apathy and bewilderment.

I`ve just got back, turned on radio 5 live, and Spurs fans are phoning up saying they want Sherwood to stay. Who are these people. Another funny thing, when I speak to non Spurs fans, they all actually seem surprised when I say I want Sherwood out. (even though I`m convinced he`s going nowhere)

Where's his evidence that he could have matched any of the top four teams on the pitch, in order to get us top four? Because all I've seen is a team devoid of any tactical guidance, who have struggled to play anything near a cohesive fashion. It's not enough that's he is being sacked, I can't stand him and want him nowhere near football. I can't have him giving it at West Ham or similar all of next season.

It's a fucking shame really. In terms of integrating development players it's clear Sherwood - as you would hope from a former Academy Director - embraces this remit. I couldn't hope for more from him in that respect.

What I don't want, and what I don't think the club wants or needs, is a manager that feels he has to publicly belittle and continually make cheap jibes and classless shots at the other, non academy, players and other members of staff.

I wanted development players integrated with our transfer policy players, not usurping them to prove some kind of point - that everyone else at the club is an idiot or a lazy foreign mercenary.

In terms of tactics, he was atrocious. Hell bent on shoehorning players into a 442 no matter what the circumstances, hell bent on proving that proper central midfielders are redundant. And why it took until the last game to drop Lennon I have no idea.

Worst of all for me was the complete and utter lack of any clear direction or instruction. No evidence of coached algorithms. We could be good, bad or indifferent - often in the same 90 minutes. Invariably poor for the first 45 minutes, we were back to lottery football, depending more on individual superiority and moments than a clear ethos and taught good practices.

The chippy, spiteful, adversarial, me against world bullshit is just the final wafer thin mint, that made tolerance of the other shit and patience almost impossible.

he could have a very free timetable by then
That was my point really. Been obvious for a while that he'll be sacked over the coming week so this GoS appearance seems rather perfectly orchestrated. Ideal opportunity to get the last word in and vent some venom.

I don't want Ledley's testimonial over-shadowed so i'm happy to wait for them to wait a couple of days. Any longer than that and i'll start to worry...

I don't see what difference it makes, it's going to be overshadowed by speculation regardless.

Regardless of what happens in the next few days I do think he has done a reasonable job getting us into Europe again. We have seen plenty of managerial changes mid season that have gone horribly wrong in the last few months.

Also, I heard him speak about Sandro after the game and he was spot on in saying that a manager had no business omitting a player over differences...both are paid by the club and that overrides everything else. When Sandro came off there wasn't a lot of animosity.
