I do rate him and have seen a lot of Villa games but I'm still left unsure of whether he is a player I want to watch every week. He just seems very dull, maybe that's what we need but it's not what I want.

I could see him becoming a fan favorite if he joined. Only gets into the headlines when he scores, but actually a very consistant player and very versatile. Good set peice taker as well.

Depends on the price though, I'm not a fan of thse inflated prices just because the player's English. As much as it chokes me to say it, Wenger has the right idea at the moment and thats why Ar5ena1 are so secure financially. Buying young'uns from abroad and gradually introducing them to Premiership footy is the way forward. Hopefully we can soon see the benefits of this in Kaboul, Boateng, Taarabt, Dervite, Peckhart etc.
