Funny that. In Ireland its about a piece of land yet in Scotland its about religion.

I blame the booze myself!

He doesnt know what he means, I think people are turning this into something it isnt.

This was about Celtic fans behaviour when we played them back in 2003. Nothing more.

I live in Scotland and they're both as bad as each other. Although I have friends who support each team, and are moderate supporters just interested in football, they also attract large numbers of glory supporters as well as the more extrreme sections.

The Old Firm are like a mix of Millwall and Man Utd. On one side the IRA/UDA songs flags, ans sheeer ignorance disgust me, on the other side, many of their fans can't see beyond the SPL and think that their sides are serious world beaters. i.e they look down there noses at us as we don't play champions league, and don't see that the only reason that they are there is that the SPL is in a horrific state.

Anyway looking forward to tonight, hopefully we can give them a lesson in football;)

I have no problem with ordinary Rangers fans, my mate's Father was a Ger, myself and other mates used to head down to his house to watch the old firm, us supporting Celtic and him supporting Rangers always a good nights criac, although Rangers where on their way to the nine in a row at that time. However I do have a problem with Racist, Sectarian, NF, C18 bigots, but that's a different conversation. Still hope Tottenham win today. COYS

I have a problem with people turning up at WHL like they own the place and waving palestinian flags but what can you do?

I totally agree. Thought they were fucking rude. There is such a thing as taking it too far, and quite honestly they deserved a kicking for that.

As for the link between Chelsea and them, I was telling one of my Chelsea "fan" mates that it is well known that Chelsea have tghe biggest gay following in the UK. I think he is starting to believe me!

40 years ago, yesterday (31/7/1968) Spurs played Rangers in a friendly at WHL.

A lot of the Rangers supporters were wearing crash helmets, the reason for this soon became apparent - They were chucking 1 pint beer bottles everywhere but protected from the ones that were thrown back.

Lock this please. This is more about who's fans are less sectarian, Rangers or Celtic and yet it's in Spurs Chat.
