Brilliant... so the Villa game is televised!

YAY!

The "leaked" list was right. That's really helped my plans!

Cheers for that, I didn't realise they were out today. Thankfully a lot of them are away games. I wonder if they've realised that they'd get more viewers when we play away rather than at home.

On the games that are televised, I'd only planned to go to the Liverpool one anyway so it doesn't mess me up

Am I correct in thinking that Sky show the vast majority of Premier League and Champions League fixtures on Sky Sports 1?

Its just that I have chopped in Sky Sports 3 and Sky Sports Xtra to save £8 a month off my bill.....will I be missing out on much?

Hull aren't on Sky until end of November. And are on once in September on Setanta. Wouldn't be happy if i was a Hull fan.

Arsenal seem to be on loads, but 7 altogether ain't too bad for us.

Premier League is on SS1
Champions League is on SS2, with SS3 and Xtra having additional matchs

And SS3 and Xtra come free when you get another SS channel don't they!?

Phew I can live with that!!

I believe you can now pick and choose what Sky Sports channels you want, in the same way that you can with Sky movies.

I think Sky Spors Xtra is free to people who opt for Sky Sports 1, 2 and 3. Obviously if you can afford it, you are better off getting all the Sky Sports channels, but the Premier League is my priority, so am happy to save £8 a month by missing out on Sky Sports 3 & Xtra.

Ah, well I'm with Virgin and haven't looked at the options since I signed up last year! I pay £17 a month for all Sports channels...

But based on last year, SS1 for EPL, SS2 for Champs... I'd imagine it's the same this season?

I am getting Virgin put into another property, and found that SS1,2&3 costs £24 a month on top of the basic package of around £20.....Sky Sports 1 on its own costs £19, as does Sky Sports 2!!!

And I believe SS Xtra and red button functionality is not available on Virgin either.

Pretty pricey really, but they have people over a barrel I guess.

If you can afford another property I'm sure you'll manage

Yeah, you don't get the red button crap... but no real need for it... the lack of HD is what annoys me

I've got quite a hefty package... but don't think it's quite £24 a month!
