There's never a time to say the C word to someone who you don't know esp. in front of women and kids
Filming yourself doing it brings us all down to a level I 'm not happy with
Yes, he did wrong but that video is just low

I must have grown up a little because I was so embarrassed at that video. But when your boyhood hero crushes your soul I cannot forgive him but he should be able to go out and eat without that shite. Awful behaviour.

Agreed. People need to get over it.

Bring on the neg ratings.
To do what that guy did was terrible.
The only one to come out of that with any credit was the guy who moved between them and ushered Judas away.
Yes I called him Judas- that's as far as I would go but leave it- it was so long ago now

Have not watched the video and have no desire to. It is sad but I’m afraid I will never forgive him. He still makes my flesh creep. He had options to join whatever club he wanted but chose to stab us in the back. Him joining Arsenal held us back for years. Arsenal knew this and that was part of the reason they signed him. He has a massive selfish ego that makes it impossible to warm to him. If he was like Marcus Rashford he would have been forgiven a long time ago.

He will have this kind if abuse right up until the day he dies....and then some!
What he done will never be forgotten, or forgiven, and his legacy is not what he would have wanted, but then again surely he knew this would happen!
Personally I wouldn't shake hands with the Judas prick but that's just about it.

Not warm but he should be written off. I no longer care what a footballer did 20 years ago (pertaining to football)..

Honestly it annoyed me more finding out he’s a Tory haha

Regardless of what he did to the club that raised him, regardless of what he then did to the Woolwich, then to Portsmouth... then Notts County... and all the other business football related, even put aside his political leanings and opinions - the way he speaks and composes himself reminds me of some medieval prince who is shit at everything but looks down his nose at everyone and likes to peacock a lot. He thinks that people staring is in awe at some aspect of his character or appearance when in fact it's blank faced "have a word with yourself" looks and he doesn't get that.

He looks in the mirror and likes what he sees, so it must be everyone else who is wrong headed. There's a name for that, and it's not football or bible related.

The thing is, he seemed genuinely unaware of the level of hatred he would get for the move. Proof of a truly unaware person that can't see outside themselves.

But videos like the above are an embarrassment.

I wonder if his Spurs supporting brother has forgiven him yet? I remember reading about him being in the crowd and turning his back on Sol when he played his first game back at the lane (think it was an excerpt from Campbells autobiography).

It's barely even that. I've heard plenty of men down the pub offer more insight than Campbell. He thrust throws out generic cliches like "I'll give it 110%". He's one of those people who manages to talk non-stop for 5 minutes and not actually say anything at the same time. You can completely see from that interview how he must come across in interviews and why he doesn't get offered the jobs.

He should be a politician..............oh, wait.............................he tried that and failed :ROFLMAO:
