some people need to step back , close their eyes and count to 10 ... since when is robbie keane a judas ?

as i said on the news thread , he has served the club well and will earn us a massive profit ...

grow up

Brilliant. Can I take that massive profit home with me? Forgive me for wanting a player who said he wanted to stay to honour that promise. You should get to more games then you would worry less about the profit the club made on its players.

Keano has not jumped ship as of yet...and there are still some who would EXECUTE him without trial (being Irish he is used to this lol). He is and has always been a class act who has spilled blood for the Cockrel....and don't you ever forget that. If he goes he goes.....so be it! Bent is a pale reflection of the type of striker that we need. He is a 4th striker at best and that worries me.
What a bad couple of days....and the next few days may not improve that much. Let's just calm down and reassess where we are and where we want to go. I favor Singapore myself but that is another story!
Look on the bright side, if there is any bright side. With a bit of luck we can up our game and push for a Top 4 finish. It seems unlikely at present but....Rome was not built in a day but ....The other man's grass is always greener and.....a bird on the hand can make a terrible mess...Incidentally why is Keano a Judas? Are we back to GUILTY without trial once more? Typical lol COYS!

As were mixing metaphores, theres no smoke without fire. Keanos a goner, served us well and a decent pay day for us. Not a Judas like Sol, but not Steve Perryman either.

Imagine this, you're a pro player at a club, let's say Middlesboro, you've just won the first trophy of your long career. You'd be pretty happy. Fair enough so far.

You were enjoying your football and life was pretty good so you told the press that you really liked the club and life. Fair enough?

Then a few weeks later Tottenham come in for you, now Tottenham are the club that you always supported (obviously) and they're bigger and better (at the moment) than M'boro. Plus they're more likely to be competing for trophies, (imagine this next part) are in the Champs league and have been every season since 1742, have a couple of world class players that are very stable and happy at the club, plus you have friends there already. And they're probably going to offer you more money too.

More money
More chance of success
One of the biggest teams in the world
Your international manager says it will make you a better player
Play in the Champs League
Play with your mates
The club you grew up loving

You'd probably be interested in a move to the mighty Spurs wouldn't you?
So, let's not all piss on Robbie too much. He might not leave yet!
