Nah I think it'll be more than 14m for lamela, he's still young and is proven in Italy, so taking a 15m or so hit on him I don't see happening, but who knows.
I'll give you 20 and that is still not happening. That puts us at 32mil...7 below the absolute minimum we are paying for the pair. I think we wind up with closer to a 43mil spend on that pair.

I called a slew of people talking like racists, racists. But tried to clean it up in fairness. You're like the BBC's Sherlock Holmes........can't read social cues.

I'm probably at fault for applying some positive racism (admittedly an oxymoron). My ex was/is half Korean, and I've never forgotten how excited she was during the 2002 World Cup when South Korea got to the semi-finals. Since then I've always had a soft spot for South Korea's football team.

Having said that, I do think I can be objective when I say he'd be a great signing for us.

I still believe they are seperate deals, having little effect on one another. We will see...
I have fallen for that too many times int he past 5 transfer windows. I would rather be wrong and be pleasantly surprised.

Good god, Atouba Edmans sound like only one player....

i remember them both, and feeling like both would make it before it became apparent both were very, very flawed

a combination of both though, now i think about it, would also be very, very flawed
You've failed to mention Gilberto?

Best thing Atouba did was a laying down scissorkick thingy in his own box. Edman goal v Liverpool and Gilberto against Spam

If it is 20 then that will be pretty much the same as the son fee and we were already getting close with berahino, factor in maybe 10 in for Fazio and Lennon and it may not look too bad overall. Alot of its and buts however.

So, is this guy any good then and what do we expect the transfer fee to be?

He's good. I think he'd definitely give more production than Lamela, as much as it pains me to give up on Lamela. Fee? Dunno, 20 million-ish? After Lamela, Son's directness will be a real palate cleanser.

By the way, you gotta admit that it's kind of funny that the German guy gave this a WTF rating. I mean that's pure gold.

Attempts to blast 'racists' and stereotyping whilst insinuating that all Germans are racists. Pure gold. The latest in a series of failed attempts at SC heroism from 'Happy'spur

If he's having a medical then personal terms must have been agreed (unless his name is Federico) and then I believe that most players of European teams e.g teams in Spain, France, Germany have release clauses. Basically everyone there has a release clause of some sort. IIRC some German chairman maybe Dortmund's said that Bayern are ruthless in how they buy from the Bundesliga and that if they really want you then they find out your release clause and just pay it without discussion, apparently what they did with Gotze. So as I presume HMS has a release clause, this should move quite quickly.
Doubt he's having a medical as he is sitting on the bench in their CL match live on telly right now

[Stoof Edit: totes Ryu not SHM]

Who was the poster who kept making statements like "15 minutes to announcement" which turned out to be accurate? Get that guy in here!

Voller indirectly confirmed it, no idea what's going on lol.

Here are the full quotes by the way:

http://www.goal.com/en-gh/news/4398...medical?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter

"There is a request and there are talks. But nothing is done. Son would not have played today anyway, he was sick at the weekend already. At this moment he is our player,” he told Sky.

"I saw many medicals in this business where there was no deal afterwards.

"We will try to reach an agreement, but only under our conditions."
