To be honest your guess is as good as mine on that, but I would guess so? Knowing how we normally function I suppose we'd need Lamela's transfer fee to come in before we make the move (okay not need as I'm sure we could afford it but you know how it goes).

Don't know if it's worth mentioning, and I haven't read much into this so don't quiz me on it, but Bayer's old sponsor just went into liquidation and the club have to pay up €13m, albeit not immediately. Maybe they're looking to free up some money for that? Again don't know if that's relevant whatsoever but thought I'd put it in anyway.
If that's the case we should be pushing for Kramer, especially if they go out the CL.

He'd be the priority for me, but Son is a good player.

Does everything think, if he signed, he'd play where Dembele his has this season? Namely, on the right hand side of midfield?

Think I'll wait for a more credible source...
The original source is a local newspaper in Leverkusen, as far as Bayer related news goes they are one of the best possible sources we could hope for tbh.

Not for me, what we really lack is pace going forward.

So you don't want a pacey player to amend that?

Berahino, Kane, Son and Eriksen as an attacking four and suddenly we're a completely different animal. The movement, the finishing, the pace :woot: Can only hope

This link doesn't make sense to me. If Bayer wins tonight, will they part with him?

And can he even be a backup for Kane? I haven't seen him play, but Transfermarkt has him as a winger. We have enough wide forwards, provided that Lamela doesn't leave.

Spurs Close to Signing €30m Bundesliga Star
According to German publication Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger, Tottenham Hotspur are closing in on a big money move for South Korean Bayer Leverkusen attacker Heung-Min Son. The fee being reported is €30m; and the 23-year-old is set to fly to north London today to sign on the dotted line, providing he passes his medical.

Son is a key part of an exciting Bayer Leverkusen team and is capable of playing on either wing, as well as occasionally in a central striking role. He may bring the pace that the Premier League side, who have started the season in poor form, are missing.

The Express even report that the player turned down a Premier League move a couple of years ago, in order to move to Bayer Leverkusen, snubbing Manchester United. Arsenal and Liverpool have also been linked in the past, but it seems Tottenham have won the race for his signature.

He follows a number of players this summer, including Roberto Firmino who went to Liverpool, Bastian Schweinsteiger who has signed for United and Shinji Okazaki and Christian Fuchs who now play their football for Leicester, by moving from the Bundesliga to the Premier League.

€30m is a big sum and is a risk but, with Tottenham struggling so far this campaign, something was needed – and this is a big statement.

Fast, runs from deep, direct, likes a long shot. Townsend

Converted from a striker, finishing isnt consistent- would play in the CAM3 Dembele

Runs down blind alleys, not consistently effective. Lennon

A brief summing up from someone who hasnt watched a lot.
So a hybrid of the 3
