I can't believe how fast this thread has filled and how quickly this transfer has advanced. Stuff has obviously been going on behind the scenes for a while but wow. If we continue at this speed it should be announced tomorrow or at least I hope so. Let's just hope it continues going so smoothly

Happy had a minor meltdown/freak out.
Son has reportedly completed his medical and is set to sign, according to the Guardian.

I watched him live in a couple of Asian Cup matches earlier this year. He's a player that's instantly noticeable as being a grade above his cohort, the same way you could notice that about Modric after a season.

This is the sort of player we should be spending big money on. I am excited about this prospect and hope it happens.

Just an observation on his style, he's not what you would imagine for an Asian player. He's quite tall and rangy, very quick with incredible close control and has a very high work rate. He's very smart in positioning and makes a lot of runs.

His issue at Spurs might be not having those runs honoured, but if he develops a good rapport with Kane and Eriksen he will be a deadly player, particularly against the slower defensive units.

His passing and movement is very clever and he creates opportunities for quick, short passing attacks down either wing.

His finishing is pretty good, though could improve and he has a tendency to err on the side of shooting from distance, a bit like Chadli.
