Son is not a striker, so I think we will bring in someone else in addition to him, they just won't be as good.

This guy better not be the back-up plan for Berahino then.
IMO, he most definitely is the backup offensive player in that price category. We may sign another inexpensive striker, but Son is being brought in to score goals and be part of a committee to do so.

Yes and we have new fans signing up from korea, let's show them and SHM a bit of respect and welcome to the club. (y)
Ah..he is signing for us! That's different then....and if he was signing for someone else we'd show the same respect? Come on pal, my comment was tongue in cheek.

Other than in Lontzen, Eupen, Raeren. Butenbach, Bullingen, Amel, St. Vith and Burg-Reuland or what is OFFICIALLY know in Belgium as the German Speaking Community. They have their own flag and their own government.

But for fucks sake man, don't let the truth get in the way of your facts.

Sick rant, seriously. Is nice to see a mind I respect put some folks in line from time to time.

That having been said, while German is one of the official languages of Belgium, only 0.4% of the population speak it as a first language, and only 22% as a second language. That's really not that much, especially compared to French and Dutch in that nation. Ergo, I think the point remains that we can't assume that any of our Belgians actually speak it, especially with most of ours actually spending a significant amount of their lives in Holland anyway.

22% is almost one in four (not that you need to be told that I'm sure), and so given we have four Belgians it wan't an unreasonable question to ask if any of them spoke it. Anyways, I'll be more careful than to open this can of worms again :p

Yeah, that's a good point, but I'd still be surprised if one of ours did. Of course, the Flemish Belgians may be more likely to speak it, two of which we have, but they've spent so much time living in Holland that I'm not sure that they've learned German. Entirely possible of course. Hell, maybe Chadli or Dembele fall within that 22% and I'm talkin shite lol

Clearly a replacement for Lamela, but knowing the media in the UK and shit they are they will most likely state that he is a back-up to Berahino and like they always do gullible fans will lap it up and use it as an excuse to hate the club and accuse Levy of penny pinching. He ain't no saint but he is clearly trying to do the best he can.

I want to reply with something you once said to somebody in a moment of petulance. And it was during a time when you were making one of your many derogatory statements about science and scientists (I am one) in the Debate section.

I'd rather you didn't reply to my posts as you're a provocateur

You have persistently sought a fight with me for whatever reasons those might be. I know that you actually used to give me neg rep in the picture thread, which nobody does, to the point I stopped posting there. Never really much reason for why you did that. But I don't like you and would prefer you stop engaging me. So just stop it.

Decent player liked Chadli, however what we need is more technique and creativity not another Winger with limited skill and a good finish.
