Before kickoff yesterday I could see nothing but a heavy defeat. I thought Walker and Rose would get run ragged, and Fazio's lack of pace would be cruely exposed by Costa.

I could see Mason and Bentaleb getting out thought by Chelsea's midfield. And I didn't see Kane getting a sniff against Terry and Cahill.

Clearly I know bugger all.

I first thought was "oh dear" when i saw rose's name on the team sheet. He took his goal well but kept getting exposed and was a bit lazy tracking back. Walker was the same but he at least busted a gut to get back.

we started really well just like at their place then around the 20min mark when they scored I mumbled just the same as last time, can see this going the same way, bla bla.

even when it was 4-1 and 5-2 I still thought they could come back, reminded me of the league cup semi against the Goons the last time we won the trophy when finally at 5-1 in injury time I thought I could calm down.

Watched the game live and MOTD highlights. He had one of his better game but that shouldn't paper over the cracks in his game.

Poch made an astute sub with bringing on davies (who is a better defender) as rose wasn't tracking back enough.

He had an "alright game" but anything more than that is difficult for any player playing against Eden Hazard.
