Southampton Away!!!

This is my first away game of the season, who of my fellow SCers are going?

Anyone know about boozers beforehand?

I'm there, not sure of pub yet though, apparently it's a bit of a walk from the train station so should be some decent places between that and the stadium?

Well if you hear about a good pub before Sunday please post Bear! My cousin lives in Southampton (yiddo) so I'm hoping to get some help from him over the next few days!

There's a Wetherspoons (The Giddy bridge) on the walk from the station to the stadium, about a 10-15 minute walk away from St Marys. There are better places at the other end of London rd from Wetherspoons away from the town centre. Chambers is alright and is at the end of London road opposite the courts. The Avondale is down the road next to Richer sounds, they do decent pub grub and it's a good place too. If you take the road to the left of the Avondale there are a load more places around there too, the Cricketers is a nice little pub down that way.

I have 2 saints fans in the house, after last nights showing both are alot more optimistic. There is a pub they were telling me about where the landlord accepts both sets of fans in on match day as long as things stay friendly, i can find the name of people lilke.

Just read that we've lost the last 6 games awy to
Southampton, conceding 10 and scoring 0! What a brutal record that is! Every reason to find a decent pub!
