Southampton & Fulham join race to sign Cameron Carter-Vickers

Southampton and Fulham are among a string of clubs interested in signing Tottenham defender Cameron Carter-Vickers this summer. Carter-Vickers has spent the season on loan at Celtic, making 42 appearances in all competitions and scoring four goals. The USMNT international has earned rave reviews for his displays in this term, and is in line to secure a League Cup and Premiership double.

He would be a good signing by either club. I have been seeing some of his work for Celtic and he is very good but he will not be good enough for us.

Apparently Celtic have an option to buy that could go up to £10 million (presumably if he meets all the add-ons). If they don't take it up, we should hopefully be able to get that or more from either of the PL clubs.

Given it looked like he was going on a free last summer this is a nice little bonus.
