We did OK. Liverpool started brighter but by half time I thought we'd turned the tide and would go on to beat them in the second half. Didn't create that much, hope to see Mason, Son and Bentaleb available again soon.

Kane should be dropped. I can accept that he's not scoring. But what pissed me off is that he trying too hard and becomes too selfish. A lot times when he should release the ball to a more well positioned team mate but carried the ball like a headless chicken and end up loosing possession.

Agree that Kane becomes (a bit) too selfish, and maybe need to be dropped. But, if now we dropped Kane, who will be our main striker then?

Think Son should be given a run as the main striker in the PL when he returns, allowing Kane to gain confidence again in the UEFA and cup games.

If Kane changes his game now then he's admitting the pressure is getting to him. He has to just get a bit lucky, it's long overdue. Keep the faith.

I spent most of last season perplexed at how many of Kanes shots went in. Some were good/great and deserved goals. Sometimes it was a joke they went in. Weak daisy cutters, mis-hits and all sorts.

Perhaps he used all his luck up in one season. He's getting chances at the moment so he's working hard but they keep going at the keeper or just outside the post instead of in the back of the net like last last season.

Kane is still playing well even if he's not scoring. It looks a lot like him shooting too often but most of the time he's our most advanced player so if he doesn't try something, nothing happens. Getting Son back and encouraging Lamela to support more will help him. I don't think last season was a fluke, I still see a very good young player.

Thing is, we really are struggling to score goals. If not for eriksen scoring those 2 direct free kicks (almost penalties) we'd have drawn blanks in 4 games already.

And if you think about it. Of our 11 goals, 2 were offside and 2 were direct free kicks.
This is a little reminiscent of the 2nd season of AVB where not conceding many goals and winning a few games by 1 goal made us look better than we were. Although in fairness, that season we got tanked 6-0 by City and 5-0 by Liverpool which showed the defence wasn't sure good as we thought.
I'm starting to think we actually are ok on defence now at last.

I just think we look clueless going forward and never really look like scoring.

Kane just needs a rest. 2 weeks off, go on holiday, recharge and come back fit and ready. My opinion anyway
