I cant think of one player who played above a 5 rating. Never seen so many mishit passes from Eriksen; Adebayor was crap (for a target man, he's holding up of the ball and lay-offs are p*ss-poor - Kane should have led the line); Stambouli and Mason were both poor.

The only positives I could get from the game is that we won and they didn't really threaten our goal at all.

It was so slow and predictable, We were getting roasted down our left by that Campbell ( i think it was ) time and again, Kane was the only one i saw helping out and doubling up on him, surely Townsend should of swapped to the left.
We won, but we need to do better than that next week to get through to the final.

Good thing about this game is that they HAVE to come at us in the second leg which is were we normally do well as opposed to teams sitting back and defending.

over the years i have seen many top sides struggle against a packed defense sometimes they win one nill ,sometimes its a nil nil draw,sometimes the underdogs go on to nick it one nil
there is always the same response from media and some fans that being that the top team was crap the lower team was fantastic
i have found over the years that you only get a good game or a good performance when both teams are commited to attack
i will be gobsmacked if we do not go on to win this tie with ease as our opponents if they want to win they will have to commit more players to attack whereby we will take advantage and win

Chill guys, as one or two have said they will have to try and score a goal. If we can net the first one then game over as far as i am concerned. I cannot see them scoring three.
