Isn't it nice looking at the bottom half of the table and not seeing us there for the first time this season. Up to ninth and well in form.

After all, after 8 games we only had 2 points.

I'll be collecting a tenner from my best mate and a pint from his old man tonight! COYS!

Id like to say what a superb job Harrys done since hes been here.He might repeat the facts a bit,but to have lead us into the top half and a cup final has been fantastic after our start.Well done Arry!!

would love to see us get 7th but being safe would help me sleep at night.

But wouldnt it be grand if we pipped the spanners to the post on the final day of the season. haha

Remember it was two (2 in 8) bad patches we went through: the end of the Ramos era and then Dec/Jan we had another because I think many players were worried about their situation. So to have two of those, be safe from relegation, in the top 10 and have a chance at 7th is really quite amazing. It was a lucky year to have this type of form in some ways, because of the congestion at the bottom. The year West Ham went down with 41 we would still be in the bottom 3 probably. So quite an astonishing turn around.

Looking at out fixtures I think we have a great chance of finishing 7th now.

Remember that it's not only West Ham we need to overhaul for 7th there's also Fulham, Wigan & Man City to worry about at least.
We can't take it for granted just because we are within striking distance of West Ham that we will get 7th.

But on he positive side there's absolutely no doubt whatsoever that we will though:up:

Amazing to think we only had 2 points in 8 games when Harry took over. I heard him mention it in his post match interview today. Quite a stat. Worth repeating isn't it!

From those first 8 games, if we had taken even 14 points more, we would be chasing a champions league place right now.

Harry us turned our season around and I have faith in him and the players we have at our disposal.

I hate to say it, but tinker too much more with the squad and we could fuck up the balance and look to our side now.

Apart from another striker in the summer, id seriously keep it as it is.

Agree, i honestly dont think we need to do too much tinkering in the summer either, perhaps just try to add a bit more strengh in depth.

As for Harry, the man has done a fantastic job in turning the club around. Also considering the job he did in the January Transfer window, in identifying the type of players we needed, i also have faith that he'll get the right players in the right positions to push us on next season.

i dont think we need any players brought in. i think the squad we have is a very capable one. any players brought in would stop some of our promising youngsters making a few starts in the first team. i think we need to consolidate what we have and get more of an understanding with the players we have.

if harry came out and said im happy with the squad and no ones coming in, everyone can be settled and concentrate on football. imagine who we would be talking about as player of the year in 12 months. this time round its bae for his massive imrpovement and consistency. 2010 could be bent/pav/bale/bentley/gio/taarabt/jenas(yes jenas). maybe not as glamourous as carlos kickaball coming in but could do the TEAM a world of good staying together.

i'd be happy with just shipping deadwood like rocha and kpb out, and one or two signings in (still think we need a class striker who can hold up play). most important thing is to keep hold of our best players. the rest of the league will improve this summer, so we have to also; if / when bentley and bale return to form hopefully they will be like new signings, and i suspect that we will see more of taraabt in non-league games too

agree with the last few posts, ship out the players Harry doesnt think is good enough and instead of brining in players to be back up (though we may shift afew players upfrount about and need to bring in 1 good player) the youth./reserves should be given a crack at filling the gaps first IMO
