I would argue the definition of "surrounding", as it's clear from them pictures it was much more a herd formation than a flanking maneuver, imho.

Is this after Mclean's disgusting tackle on Dembele?

That bloke is just a thug who doesn't deserve thousands of pounds a week.

An out of character response we all liked and want to see more of (when just, as this was, due to the ref not even giving a foul initially), how very 'Spursy' for us to be called out for it, yet Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal have done it persistently as a cheating tactic but never get charged.

My psychic ballsack suggests this is a good historical indicator that we are challengers.

Definite red card. I was watching Gillette Soccer Saturday and Ally McNally said it was a yellow card, I am not sure if he didn't see a good replay of it but he did see a good replay then the mind boggles.

Looking forward to the most of the West Brom team being charged with assault and battery and the ref being charged with aiding and abetting.

Jon Moss is an absolute weapon. Worst ref out there at the minute. If he had a clue then players wouldn't need to 'surround him'

That said, I am pleased we got the rats, as often we are too nice when the refs are doing their usual screw spurs routine and just get on with things. More nasty streak please

It was a bad challenge that looked worse than it was.

Probably an over-reaction from our players, but good to see them pulling together. To be honest I'm happy for them to pick up a fine or two if it's as a result of showing some togetherness. For me it's a symptom of the sort of close team Poch is building.

Absolutely with the assessment of Moss. I don't understand how he gets anywhere near to officiating a premier league game

He epitomises why so many people think refereeing standards have declined so badly

I didn't see the game but have watched this video twice.

Still can't quite work that tackle out so it's hard for me to blame the ref on this one. I think West Brom player just tried to kick the ball hard... and missed it hard...and therefore kicked Moussa hard... 'cos he's shit at tackling rather than good at intentionally hurting.
I dunno, I feel it's way over the top going in like that, yeah he's going for the ball but look at the force and how high his foot makes contact. Leg breaker for me.

Just watched it again actually. Was a terrible challenge. Certainly could have been a red.

He was about a foot off the ground, flying at Moussa rather than the ball.

If the ref doesn't see that as a straight red (and he obviously saw it considering he gave a yellow) then he's not fit to ref.
