No.

The F1 track will be built underneath the karting track, which will be built underneath the secret cheese vault, which is built underneath the stadium.

If it helps, here's a bullet-list representation:

  1. Stadium
  2. Cheese vault
  3. Kart circuit
  4. F1 circuit
  5. ???
  6. Profit
Hope that's clarified things.
Called number 5 above.

I'm intrigued how this will work when the pitch is slid under the stand... Will the track be under the pitch or have to be dismantled..

I'm sure they have thought of it..

But another good idea to bring revenue in, no doubt you can buy f1 merchandise via the store...

I should think the track will be marked out what is currently the car park, and all the barriers etc will be temporary and just get chucked in the cheese room, NFL changing room, etc, etc when not in use.

This is all well and good, and like I said when it comes to the commercial side of things levy does excel, but again we have only won one trophy in 15 years! When is he going to do his talking on the field instead of off. I know people will say this will generate more income for players, but as a spurs fan I want to see us win something.

What do you need to win? Excellent players.

What do you need to sign excellent players? Lots of money.

How do you earn lots of money? Long term commercial partnerships.

What is this thing with F1? A long term commercial partnership.

Also Levy can't do his talking on the pitch, he ihas never nor will he ever be a footballer. He is an executive and can only do his talking in the boardroom. Whether he does that properly on all topics is a different conversation entirely.

This.

We all have our rightful reasons to be frustrated with Levy. However, the least logical complaint is ‘he promised us the stadium will be a game-changer, but we are still not spending enough money to win trophies etc’

The planning of the stadium took a decade. Construction took three years. The loans are payable over multiple decades.

How many full seasons have we had with full Spurs and events attendances? A grand total of ONE.

The game changer is not instantaneous but it is sustainable over the long term and once we stand there in the future with the trophies in our hand we will know that we did it the right way, which deep down City, Chelsea and Newcastle fans know they didn’t.

I bet West Ham are kicking themselves for missing out. They could have real F1 cars racing around between the pitch and the seating area.

I remember there was a day when I used to get excited by footballing stories being a fan of Tottenham. What a sad state of affairs and a financially obsessed overview of top level football that this type of drivel is fed to the “future football fans” and the “legacy fans” are left to flick through pages of their old shoot annuals for mythical stories about the “beautiful game”.

Would run out of battery before they did one lap! Pointless.

Almost every session sold out for tomorrow, even the £85 tickets for half an hour karting. Click on the X to get some footage of the track

Wow, absolutely amazing set up! That will be a stand alone business just on its own, even if you only get two groups of 20 a day at an average of £55ph over a five day week that’s £600k pa just on ticket sales.
Factor in food, stadium tour, sky drop etc and you’re looking at a few million a year, not to mention whatever deal baldie has struck with F1.
Start factoring all these together and it’s another reason why out stadium needs to remain the “Tottenham Hotspur Stadium”
