Spurs at work.....

So who claims to their spurs supporting workmates that they are ITK.....

You must have pals at your workplace that support spurs but aren't on any forums and pick up everything they know about spurs from the paper. Do you surprise them with snippets of info we get from our beloved ITKs or do you claim it as your own ? Lying through your back teeth telling them you know someone at the club, or my dad is very close to a player etc.

I have a few fellas here, all in their 40-50s who support spurs but haven't got a clue about what's going on. They always ask me if i know anything that's happening over there. I told them early yesterday about AVB and Siggurdsson, when asked how do i know, i blantatly said i know someone who works at Spurs Lodge and he confirms it for me. Then, as if by magic it appears on BBC and in the papers etc. I'm a god....The guys here think i've got someone on the inside. It's great !!

Of course if it all goes tit's up, i'll look a fool but for the time being i'm enjoying my status as the man who knows everything at spurs !!

Anyone else claim ITK info as their own ???

Working in Manchester makes this rather difficult. I'm pretty much the odd one out with everyone supporting City or United. There is however a gooner knocking around in IT somewhere but i try and avoid him like the plague. At lunch however i do tend to impart my Spurs knowledge during general football discussions. I'm not quite sure if they're impressed with my 'insider' info or if they just feel sorry for me.

The last couple of games of the season were interesting by the way, lot's of banter flying around. Half the office didn't come in on the Monday after the last game of the season.

Not in work, and I haven't claimed to be ITK, but one of my best mates is a massive Spurs fan but doesn't really spend much time on computers and is out and about a lot for his work so he isn't on any forums.

Anyway, I keep drip feeding him bits of info from here and finally managed to get him to follow our SC ITK Twitter feed. So now I keep getting bombarded with all these questions...Who is this JJetset guy?, Does he know his stuff?, Does the JJ mean he is actually Jenas?

His latest text last night..."I'm getting really fucked off with all these cryptics!"...my response "Fuck me, you've been at this a week or so and I've been on there for years...how the fuck do you think I feel!!!"

Haha I have done yeah, i dont give them anything cryptic as if i turned up going on about "blue & yellow" or "bap bap Americano" i'd lose any kudos ive gained! its works well when some scouse fan or something is telling me that we are gonna sign someone etc and i cant be all "no, it wont happen..."

Haha Ive done this before! I remember before we signed Kaboul & Bale there was some ITK about them being shown round WHL & the Lodge, I spoke to a guy at work and enlightened him with "my" info and ever since then (5 years!!) he still asks if I know whats going on! More recent triumphs have been Nelsen & Saha, Arry leaving & Sigurdsson before it hit the BBC!
