Apologies as I was away all week and didn't provide a write-up last weekend. This will be a brief one so, mainly because it's so close to Gameweek 3, but also because my previous, more detailed, draft of this post was lost somehow.

Team of the Gameweek: Richarryson with an impressive 99 points.

Top 3:
Dier straits (no, not that one @Marty )
ABCDE FC with another steady performance - 79 and 80 points
Lukes Spurs Guys, who has mastered capitalization, but still yet to get a grasp of apostrophes, sadly

Bottom of the Game week is Bäckliden FC, with an awful 21 points. Taking a closer look, however, makes one hope he's in an anti-fpl league.

Top of the confirmed: @Tucker up to 20th on 141 points.

Bottom of the confirmed: @aliyid in 281st on 84 points., including a paltry 30 in Gameweek 2.

I thought FPL would be intelligent enough to not distinguish between upper and lower case so we wouldn't get duplicate team names

My Dier Straits team has an upper case S in Straits but the league leader has a lower case s. And I dropped to 66th last week.

Ive tweaked my team for next week - Diaz in there although I threw up putting a Liverpool player in there. I refuse to put any Arsenal players - although Jesus against Fulham? sheesh. Also took out Son for Kulu - that hurt but had to take up my quota of Spurs players and never taking out Kane - never ever.

Week started well for me with Perisic, struggled a bit since though, Salah captain and Alexander Arnold still to go tonight so could be ok in the end.

A pretty disappointing week for anyone who had City or Liverpool assets, especially if you made the mistake of not captaining Salah.

Top score of the week goes to @DiamondLites who hit 84 points in the game week. Biggest riser was Who kidnapped Levy? who jumped 147 places.

Lowest score of the week was Kick it out with a miserable 26 points, having made the mistake of captaining Son.

I would've got over 100 points had I capped Haaland instead of Salah. Good round that could've been great. Up to 10th before today's games but all of mine have played.

My midfield have come through this weekend with Kulusevski remainin to play although Bruno hasnt played today. Neves, Sterling and Diaz have all scored. My defence and keeper are shite. Need Kane to score a few today as he is my captain - Mitro did well yesterday for me

Week 4 Roundup

A good week for those who captained Haaland or TAA, while those of us who chose Salah or Jesus were bitterly disappointed, especially in Salah, who somehow managed to blank in a 9-0 win.

GimmieGimmieGimmie was top scorer in the SC AON mini-league with an impressive 122 points, the 1,341st best score in the world this week. Not bad at all!

In the confirmed mini-group, @josedominguezspurslegend was the high scorer, with 109 points, rocketing up to 5th among the confirmed. On the other side of the coin, @Tucker had a bit of a shocker, his 34 points dropping him down from 3rd to mid-table. Meanwhile @Steffen climbs one spot into first, while @Mattspur remains rooted to the bottom of the table. Special shoutout to @TallBlokePH who has managed to use three chips in the first four gameweeks. Impressive!
