What a great stat from England football history.

Spurs have made the biggest goal contribution for England internationals..... and supplied the second most players for England.

I believe, and I may be wrong, that this stat shows the clubs who have had the most players who played for England, but that we are top of the pile for players who have played for England while at the club.

The goals stat is no doubt helped by having had Greaves, Lineker, and to a lesser extent, Chivers and Sheringham.

Quite right (that's my web site which was quoted in the original post, BTW).

Jimmy Greaves has scored the most goals for England while a Spurs player with 29 to his credit.

Next comes the legendary Vivian Woodward (Olympic goal medal winning captain of the Great Britain team at the 1908 & 1912 games) with 27.

Third on the list is Gary Lineker with 21 goals.

Bobby Smith and Martin Chivers both chipped-in with 13 England goals apiece.

Fantastic stat i must say. But we must never forget that Englands most successful manager was also a Spurs player. Sir Alf.:)
