Hello there - apologies if this is in the wrong place, but it seemed the most appropriate.

I've popped over from a website called RAWK (Red and White Kop) which, as you can probably guess, is a Liverpool site.

We run a regular feature previewing upcoming matches and like to visit opposing sites to gain an inside view on our opponents. With this in mind, I'd be greatly obliged if any of you could answer all/some of the below for me, to be included in our 'Spyin' Kop' feature.

Cheers muchly :)

2007/08 saw you bring a new manager and some silverware to White Hart Lane – which of these was least expected back in August?

Is Ramos the man to take Spurs forward? What are your opinions on the 6 months or so he’s had so far? Is it too early to tell?

What’ve been the three highlights of your season?

And the lows?

The Adebayor song has proved controversial – what’s your opinion?

Getting on to our game – do you really care? Is the ‘Benidorm’ factor hitting the fans as well as the players, as there’s nothing to fight for?

Seeing what we’re charged as away fans, season tickets at the Lane must be among the most expensive in the land - are Spurs (and football in general) worth the money?

What’re your predictions for our game on Sunday?

What will you be doing this summer while the footie’s gone?

Predict a signing (or two) for your side this summer. What areas would you like to see strengthened? Who would you like to get the chop?

Finally, what’re your hopes for next season? What can you realistically expect?

New manager

Is Ramos the man to take Spurs forward? What are your opinions on the 6 months or so he’s had so far? Is it too early to tell?

Too early...

What’ve been the three highlights of your season?

Beating Chelski and Wembley
Beating the Goons 5-1
Signing Modric

And the lows?

Going out on penalties to PSV
Getting rid of Jol (at the time, in hindsight maybe not so bad)

The Adebayor song has proved controversial – what’s your opinion?

I don't sing it... only understand it when we're playing Arsenal... otherwise what's the point?!

Getting on to our game – do you really care? Is the ‘Benidorm’ factor hitting the fans as well as the players, as there’s nothing to fight for?

My best mate supports Liverpool, so yes. But otherwise, no. oooo but finishing above the Spam would be nice

Seeing what we’re charged as away fans, season tickets at the Lane must be among the most expensive in the land - are Spurs (and football in general) worth the money?

Depends on which Spurs decide to turn up

What’re your predictions for our game on Sunday?

2-1... Riise own goal in the last minute to hand us the victory!

What will you be doing this summer while the footie’s gone?

Telling everyone I'm half German and supporting a side that might actually win something on the international stage

Predict a signing (or two) for your side this summer. What areas would you like to see strengthened? Who would you like to get the chop?

Defensive Mid (Diarra would be lovely jubbly, even if he is a bit of a cock)
Centre Back for when King's on the sidelines (aka all season)
When Ghaly and Berbatov :)cry:) go we need to sign some new token foreign fans to flood our message boards with badly-written, blinkered, one sided arguments (insert Tottenham fans joke here)

Finally, what’re your hopes for next season? What can you realistically expect?

Anything less than Champions League qualification, a Domestic and European Cup, finding Shergar and Gus Poyet winning 'Britains got Talent" will be a failure in my eyes.

2007/08 saw you bring a new manager and some silverware to White Hart Lane – which of these was least expected back in August?
As you know, Martin Jol was a big favourite at Spurs, proved by the unanimous supprt of him at the getafe game when he 'resigned, was sacked etc'. Unfortunately the cliche 'Football is a results business' suited our predicament, we had a terrible start and the backroom furore which was created after Jol announced that some of our signings last summer weren't his choice only made things worse. His position became untenable when stories were leaked about Ramos.

Is Ramos the man to take Spurs forward? What are your opinions on the 6 months or so he’s had so far? Is it too early to tell?

IMO i think he is, he has a good aura about him which the players have picked up on. Nobody can fail to notice the way he's transformed the fitness of the team and he talks a good game. I also think Poyet is invaluable too. He's a good front man to speak to the press after games, he seems to get his point across and the players seem to respect him as a coach. Obviously winning a cup in his first 6 months was good, it got us into europe but in a way it's made the team a bit lacklustre, top half was there for the taking and we should have pushed on after the cup win. Unfortunately we didn't and it looks as though we'l have to settle for 10th at best.

What’ve been the three highlights of your season?
Winning the League cup, 5-1 against Arsenal, picking up Woodgate and Hutton (4 i know !!)

And the lows?
The bad start, tailing off in the last 1/4 of the season.

The Adebayor song has proved controversial – what’s your opinion?
It's only a song, i'm sure as Liverpool supporters you've had worse. We certainly have.

Getting on to our game – do you really care? Is the ‘Benidorm’ factor hitting the fans as well as the players, as there’s nothing to fight for?
The last home game should always have a good atmosphere and games between ourselves are always played with style. I think it will be a high scoring game, 3-3 would be my prediction.

Seeing what we’re charged as away fans, season tickets at the Lane must be among the most expensive in the land - are Spurs (and football in general) worth the money?
I haven't got a season ticket so i can't comment

What’re your predictions for our game on Sunday?
3-3

What will you be doing this summer while the footie’s gone?
Playing cricket, ogling women and hitting F5 to refresh our transfer rumours page !!

Predict a signing (or two) for your side this summer. What areas would you like to see strengthened? Who would you like to get the chop?
A new GK and a tough tackling no-nonsense CM. Getting Bale and King back fit and playing regularly is a must. Hopefully we can keep Berbatov but as every day passes it's looking more and more unlikely.

Finally, what’re your hopes for next season? What can you realistically expect
Top six, top four at a push. A decent signing and an improved performance in europe. A cup would be nice too.

I'm probably the most senior members, so I'll answer :p:

2007/08 saw you bring a new manager and some silverware to
White Hart Lane – which of these was least expected back in August?
Tricky one, but I'd say new manager, Always thought Jol was capable.. Untill September 07 lol.

Is Ramos the man to take Spurs forward? What are your opinions on the 6 months or so he’s had so far? Is it too early to tell?
Imagine Jesus and multiply it by infinity. That is Ramos.

What’ve been the three highlights of your season?
Arsenal 5-1, Chelsea 2-1 final CC. 6-4 reading OR 4-4 Chelsea in league

And the lows?
Losing to a lesser team (at the time), in PSV and subsequently being knocked out of the UEFA cup.

The Adebayor song has proved controversial – what’s your opinion?
Media excaserbated the effects of the song. Racism is not Spurs. Hence, the Yid army...
Getting on to our game – do you really care? Is the ‘Benidorm’ factor hitting the fans as well as the players, as there’s nothing to fight for?
Realistically, there is no reason to be grafting now. However, the players SHOULD be competing for their places, with the summer transfer market soon to open,.. Ramos, should have them on their toes until the very end. And if he doesn't, he hasn't done his job properly. I think we have been unlucky with our recent results. Always dominating, but for once, finding it hard to score now. Berbatov disinterested perhaps?

Seeing what we’re charged as away fans, season tickets at the Lane must be among the most expensive in the land - are Spurs (and football in general) worth the money?
Always worth the money. Even when we lose. I honestly think we've played some of the best football in the premiership for the past few seasons and once we iron out the creases, I can't see why we won't revatilise the top four, so to speak.

What’re your predictions for our game on Sunday?
2-1 Spurs

What will you be doing this summer while the footie’s gone?
Newsnow.co.uk / Tottenham

Predict a signing (or two) for your side this summer. What areas would you like to see strengthened? Who would you like to get the chop?
Torres and gerrard! No, hopefully, Veloso and Eto'o. Fire: No one. Would like to see our young starlet, Adel Taarabt get some more first team games under his belt. Think he's hugely talented.

Finally, what’re your hopes for next season? What can you realistically expect?
UEFA Cup. Any other silverware is a bonus, but I'd rather win the UEFA.

2007/08 saw you bring a new manager and some silverware to White Hart Lane – which of these was least expected back in August? I didn't expect Jol to go at all, but then nobody expected us to have such a terrible start - not even the Arse. It's been a funny old season, I always expected us to challenge for cups though.

Is Ramos the man to take Spurs forward? What are your opinions on the 6 months or so he’s had so far? Is it too early to tell?
Far too early to tell. I feel he's probably underachived with this squad, especially since buying a whole new defence, but Ramos clearly knows what he wants and I'll reserve real judgement until next season - when hopefully he has the squad HE wants.
What’ve been the three highlights of your season? 5-1 against Arsenal, Carling Cup final & I'm actually struggling for a 3rd...

And the lows?Losing 3-1 at home to Arse, 4-1 against Birmingham & Newcastle & going out of the Uefa Cup to a lesser team when they were there for the taking.

The Adebayor song has proved controversial – what’s your opinion?
It's fucking racist & disgusting - the kind of song I'd expect WestHam to sing, not Spurs who's fans have been the victims of racism for decades

Getting on to our game – do you really care? Is the ‘Benidorm’ factor hitting the fans as well as the players, as there’s nothing to fight for?I think it has hit the fans as well, since the Carling Cup we've been served up dross after dross, but hopefully the players want to put in a good performance to end the season. I care, because I want to see players like Bent & Gilberto in particular play well because they could be key players next term

Seeing what we’re charged as away fans, season tickets at the Lane must be among the most expensive in the land - are Spurs (and football in general) worth the money? It's expensive, but you're never short of entertainment - good or bad! I guess when you're trying to compete with you guys, the blue and red scum down the road and United with a 36k stadium prices are always going to be a little on the high side.

What’re your predictions for our game on Sunday?same as the away game - 2-2

What will you be doing this summer while the footie’s gone?I'm trying not to think about it, there's the NBA playoffs/finals then I'll be following the Euros but after that I'll probably be googling Spurs rumours and getting obsessed about the start of next season

Predict a signing (or two) for your side this summer. What areas would you like to see strengthened? Who would you like to get the chop?
It's tough to call, because as everyone knows, we're linked with every Tom, Dick & Harry. I'd like to see us sign Lassana Diarra, and the Eto'o rumours appear to have substance - so if I'm being really optimistic then him as well. I'd like to see Boateng, Tainio, Ghaly, Stalteri, Gardner, Robinson all leave, and I think Kaboul & Lee will go

Finally, what’re your hopes for next season? What can you realistically expect?I'd really like us to not be miles away from the top 4 - even if we finished say, 6th, but were only a few points off 4th I'd be happy with that, I want some kind of consistency & a good run in the cups, realistically, with the right attitude we should be able to win the Uefa Cup.

2007/08 saw you bring a new manager and some silverware to White Hart Lane – which of these was least expected back in August?

You mean before the start of the season? Before the Sunderland fiasco on the opening day I would've said a change in manager was least expected.

Is Ramos the man to take Spurs forward? What are your opinions on the 6 months or so he’s had so far? Is it too early to tell?

A little bit too early to tell, but on the plus side he has already won a trophy with us and the squad is noticeably slimmer and fitter than they were before he took over. We'll find out next season if he can actually lead us to glory.

What’ve been the three highlights of your season?

1. 5-1 v Arsenal in CC semi
2. 2-1 v Chelsea in CC final
3. 2-0 away to City in CC quarters when they were still unbeaten at home.

It's been all about the CC this year, precious few highlights in other competitions.

And the lows?

1. Our terrible start to the season and the resulting sacking of Jol. I stand completely behind Ramos and I think he will prove to be the better manager, but after taking us to two 5ths in a row this was not the way I had imagined we would part with the big man.
2. Losing undeservedly to PSV in the UEFA
3. 1-4 v Newcastle

The Adebayor song has proved controversial – what’s your opinion?

I will never sing it. I won't call it massively racist but it's incredibly rude. Also, Adebayor's dad died fairly recently iirc which just makes it even worse. I support Spurs, I don't waste my vocal chords on other players or teams (apart from 'if you hate Arsenal stand up')

Getting on to our game – do you really care? Is the ‘Benidorm’ factor hitting the fans as well as the players, as there’s nothing to fight for?

I'd like to go out on a high note by beating one of the top 4, but it's so obvious that all our players have one eye on the summer and has been since we lost to PSV. Another reason I want to win is that if West Ham don't win we leapfrog them and get into the top half.

Seeing what we’re charged as away fans, season tickets at the Lane must be among the most expensive in the land - are Spurs (and football in general) worth the money?

You can never accuse us of being boring, at least. You get more for your money at WHL than you would at Stamford Bridge, where the prices are even higher and the football infinitely more dull. But I think the game is getting far too expensive.

What’re your predictions for our game on Sunday?

Realistically 1-1. We're very good at those at the moment. But hope we can find the extra goal to nick it 2-1.

What will you be doing this summer while the footie’s gone?

Footie never goes away for me because I live in Norway and the Norwegian season goes through the summer. I'll also be glued to the Euros of course.

Predict a signing (or two) for your side this summer. What areas would you like to see strengthened? Who would you like to get the chop?

We've already got Modric, who will hopefully be excellent. We need a new goalkeeper, Amelia would be my preferred choice, either him or one of the German youngsters (Adler and Neuer). Also a hard man in midfield, a Gattuso or Veloso would be fantastic. And a third striker if (when) Berba leaves.

Finally, what’re your hopes for next season? What can you realistically expect?

I think we can realistically expect to give the top 4 a much better run for their money even though I doubt we'll break in to it next season. We should be 5th though, if we fill those problem positions (GK and CM) we are definitely at least the 5th best team in the league. More good cup runs are also expected, with hopefully another trophy from one of them.

No problem

2007/08 saw you bring a new manager and some silverware to White Hart Lane – which of these was least expected back in August?
Think the Manager was the suprise (but needed) with progress over the last couple of seasons I think we had a good chance of silverware

Is Ramos the man to take Spurs forward? What are your opinions on the 6 months or so he’s had so far? Is it too early to tell?
Ramos could be the man to take forward but is too early to tell, think he has done well with a team that is not his and has got some of his thoughts across, don't think we playing ramos type football yet
What’ve been the three highlights of your season?

Spurs 5 v Arse 1 / Carling cup / new manager
And the lows?
Uefa cup defeat / league position

The Adebayor song has proved controversial – what’s your opinion?

Getting on to our game – do you really care? Is the ‘Benidorm’ factor hitting the fans as well as the players, as there’s nothing to fight for?
I think it could be a good game, no pressure in regards to league, there will be a few players looking to cement there future or put themselves in the shop window and we also tend to play better against top 4 opposition

Seeing what we’re charged as away fans, season tickets at the Lane must be among the most expensive in the land - are Spurs (and football in general) worth the money?
Certainly for the goals this season, but prices are very high in general, seen more as paying customer rather than loyal fan these days

What’re your predictions for our game on Sunday?
Think we will win but could be tight, at least 4 goals scored

What will you be doing this summer while the footie’s gone?
Hopefully drinking ad few lads kick abouts, more likely house work and babysitting (euro was my visa)

Predict a signing (or two) for your side this summer. What areas would you like to see strengthened? Who would you like to get the chop?
Would like a new keeper and new midfield (all 4) and possibly striker. I think our back 4, front 2 and possibly Lennon would make it into the top 4 teams.
Would be happy to see Jenas, chimbonda and Zokora leave

Finally, what’re your hopes for next season? What can you realistically expect?

Good cup run and think we could be pushing 5th maybe 4th depending on the ramos effect and signings (think his Pre-season is going to be brutal for the players but is what we need)

Cheers to those who've chipped in with replies so far - the only reason that the questions have an 'edge' to them, as it were, is to provoke debate. Often when other people do this feature on RAWK I find the questions can be a bit repetitive and bland (Who's your favourite player? What side will you play against us? that sort of thing), which I find adds little insight into what's going on on the other side of the line of stewards. I'd much prefer a bit of banter and debate, and to even possibly get a cross-section of your support with differing views.

No malace or edge intended, just after interesting views. I did one of these on a Bolton fansite the other season and I've stuck around there ever since because there were some good posters coming up with interesting replies - hopefully it'll be the same around here.

Once I get all the replies together I'll pick a handful from each question for the piece, and drop back with a link to it once it's all done and dusted and put up on RAWK (sometime later on today, fingers crossed).

Cheers :)

Wasn't it 2-0?

Defoe scored, then after being down to 10 men (Zokora sent off) Malbranque should've seen Red for a worse tackle but then went on to score...

I'd go along with Chris12345 for most answers, I'm more positive about Ramos I think he is the man for the job I know it's early but I'm convinced.

This summer I will be mostly paying back the money I borrowed for next seasons's season ticket.

Do I care about sundays game, funnily enough I do, It's definitely been winding down for weeks now but I'd like to top West Ham if possible but also beating a top four and CL semi Finalist will fill my summertime heart with vigour, hope and enthusiasm for next year.

By the way one of my lows was Liverpool losing to chelsea, how could you allow that lot into the CL final? What were you thinking?

All the Best

2007/08 saw you bring a new manager and some silverware to White Hart Lane – which of these was least expected back in August? Probably the new manager, Martin Jol was idolised at the Lane and we thought we were well equipped and prepared for this season, we still feel he was stabbed in the back from the minute we lost to Sunderland on the opening day.

Is Ramos the man to take Spurs forward? What are your opinions on the 6 months or so he’s had so far? Is it too early to tell?
Ramos is definately the man! he seems a born winner and with that comes a ruthlessness. The players upturn in fitness has been untold and we seem to play for 95 mins now and not just 45!! since the cup win though the performances has been lacklustre.

What’ve been the three highlights of your season?
Beating Arsenal 5-1 in the semi final, beating Chelsea in the final and prob beating west ham 4-0

And the lows?
The disgraceful way Martin jol was sacked. Once again washing our linen in public.

The Adebayor song has proved controversial – what’s your opinion?
I'll get slated for this, but its funny!! controversial but so are most anti arsenal songs.

Getting on to our game – do you really care? Is the ‘Benidorm’ factor hitting the fans as well as the players, as there’s nothing to fight for?
What i care most is to see a good performance, last games always a bit of a jolly up.

Seeing what we’re charged as away fans, season tickets at the Lane must be among the most expensive in the land - are Spurs (and football in general) worth the money?
well the Club will say yes as we've had over 100 goals at the lane!! most prob in our net!! i think we play good football but its far too expensive at the Lane.

What’re your predictions for our game on Sunday?
2-2

What will you be doing this summer while the footie’s gone?
watching Euro 2008 and pining for the start of next season!

Predict a signing (or two) for your side this summer. What areas would you like to see strengthened? Who would you like to get the chop?
Eto'o!! maybe if you believe what you read. i'd like to see a defensive midfielder not just an all round midfielder like we normally get!
hopefully Zokora will pack his bags.

Finally, what’re your hopes for next season? What can you realistically expect? I'd reckon we'll get 6th and i'd gladly take that. looking forward to it. ooh and maybe a UEFA cup!!

2007/08 saw you bring a new manager and some silverware to White Hart Lane – which of these was least expected back in August?

Silverware - we were playing crap, Jol was already a dead man walking (by the end of August anyway)

Is Ramos the man to take Spurs forward? What are your opinions on the 6 months or so he’s had so far? Is it too early to tell?

He's done alright so far, won us a cup, qualified for Europe, but since we went out of the Uefa Cup it's been poor. But too early to tell overall.

What’ve been the three highlights of your season?

Winning the cup and beating Chelsea in the process
Beating Ar5ena1 5-1
The support for Martin Jol in his last game - brought a tear to my eyes

And the lows?

Losing to PSV
The treatment of Jol
Reading Berbati's comments on SpursCommunity

The Adebayor song has proved controversial – what’s your opinion?

Catchy tune, rubbish chant. We can do better than that

Getting on to our game – do you really care? Is the ‘Benidorm’ factor hitting the fans as well as the players, as there’s nothing to fight for?

Not finishing above Wet Spam will cost me best part of £200 in lost bets, so there's plenty to play for

Seeing what we’re charged as away fans, season tickets at the Lane must be among the most expensive in the land - are Spurs (and football in general) worth the money?

The last few seasons, season tickets have represented value for money. Given the predicted rise for next season, we'd better improve as massively on the pitch

What’re your predictions for our game on Sunday?

The game will consist of 11 v 11, two halves of football each lasting 45 minutes plus stoppage time. Otherwise, after the season we've had, anything is possible.

What will you be doing this summer while the footie’s gone?

Maybe play some golf

Predict a signing (or two) for your side this summer. What areas would you like to see strengthened? Who would you like to get the chop?

Ronaldinho will sign, Berba will leave, we need a defensive midfielder, a centre back and a keeper

Finally, what’re your hopes for next season? What can you realistically expect?

My hopes - to see Berba score the winning goal for us in the Uefa Cup final, having secured fourth spot in the league a few weeks before.

Realistically, a good cup run and fifth place, all achieved without a certain Bulgarian.

2007/08 saw you bring a new manager and some silverware to White Hart Lane – which of these was least expected back in August?

Would have to say, new manager, most certainly. With the expectations expected of us, at the start of the season, silverware, was something possible.

Is Ramos the man to take Spurs forward? What are your opinions on the 6 months or so he’s had so far? Is it too early to tell?

I believe him to be so, yes. As much as i love Jol, Ramos knows his stuff, and won't hesitate to drop someone due to loss of form etc.

What’ve been the three highlights of your season?

5-1 against Ar5ena1
Winning the Carling Cup, beating the Rentboys.
Making Man Utd, look ordinary in our home game, and almost beating them.

And the lows?

Getting battered 4-1 by Brum and the Geordies. Losing Jol, and being beneath Spam at the moment.

The Adebayor song has proved controversial – what’s your opinion?

Personally, thought it was quite funny. I can see how some people would class it as rasicm, but most of them, have a stick up they're ass.

Getting on to our game – do you really care? Is the ‘Benidorm’ factor hitting the fans as well as the players, as there’s nothing to fight for?

Yes, a few of my mates are Pool fans, and to have bragging rights, just for one game, would be fantastic.

Seeing what we’re charged as away fans, season tickets at the Lane must be among the most expensive in the land - are Spurs (and football in general) worth the money?

Yes, even if Spurs don't turn up. The atmosphere at the lane, is awesome.

What’re your predictions for our game on Sunday?

I'd say 2-1, to us, fingers crossed.

What will you be doing this summer while the footie’s gone?

Working, drinking, working some more, drinking some more.

Predict a signing (or two) for your side this summer. What areas would you like to see strengthened? Who would you like to get the chop?

Diarra, Veloso. Would like to see another class keeper, experienced and class CB in case of Ledley, being injured. Someone to replace Dimi, and another attacking midfielder.

Finally, what’re your hopes for next season? What can you realistically expect?

I was hoping for a CL place, this season, but we got nowhere near. So i'm expecting us to get our 5th spot back, and winning a cup. Champions League place would be good, but can't see it just yet.

2007/08 saw you bring a new manager and some silverware to White Hart Lane – which of these was least expected back in August?

New manager easily, we expected success after the last two seasons, not a new manager.

Is Ramos the man to take Spurs forward? What are your opinions on the 6 months or so he’s had so far? Is it too early to tell?

Some might say its too early to tell, but I'll say this. Martin Jol was a great player manager, but he had little tactic know how compared to Ramos and our players are clearly also in better shape, so I'm going to say yes. In Ramos we trust.

What’ve been the three highlights of your season?

5-1 Arsenal match
Carling Cup Victory
The 4-4 Chelsea match was a thriller

And the lows?

Anytime we've lost points late in the match. So that would be a lot of fixtures, including the match at Anfield.

The Adebayor song has proved controversial – what’s your opinion?

Getting on to our game – do you really care? Is the ‘Benidorm’ factor hitting the fans as well as the players, as there’s nothing to fight for?

I care because my roommate is a Liverpool fan and we're going to be jawing at each other throughout the match. Also it is probably Berbatov's last match for Spurs.

Seeing what we’re charged as away fans, season tickets at the Lane must be among the most expensive in the land - are Spurs (and football in general) worth the money?

Of course.

What’re your predictions for our game on Sunday?

I really have no idea. Spurs are like Jekyll and Hyde. But on our recent form and since its the last home match of the season I'll say we win 3-1.

What will you be doing this summer while the footie’s gone?

Watching Euro 2008

Predict a signing (or two) for your side this summer. What areas would you like to see strengthened? Who would you like to get the chop?

I think we'll sign a CB, not sure who. There's also a lot of talk of signing Diarra, which I would like to see and think might be possible since he just went to Pompey to play and get into the Euro squad.

Finally, what’re your hopes for next season? What can you realistically expect?

I expect a Top 6 finish and I hope we stay within four or five points at least of fourth the whole season.
