Tottenham have reportedly narrowed down their search for Hugo Lloris' replacement and a concrete proposal for Aston Villa goalkeeper Emi Martinez could be launched by sporting director Fabio Paratici over the coming weeks.

I'd rather we signed Dean Henderson and freed up an extra non HG space. Think I read that he wants out of Utd.

Edit; Been told Martinez is also HG. As you were.

Him and Romero are proven combo, he is good at penalties which could help us in Cups. Emery is doing great there and I'm not sure if they will sell key players, they will want to keep him happy.

Worst time-waster in the Prem.
Been booked for it but hasn't improved him.
Hope he doesn't bring that aspect of his play with him.

If he comes, obviously.

I recall Forster held that title before he did though.

He's not a good enough keeper for us, he is from the school of being obnoxious and erratic, very similar to pickford, they pull off some big saves from time to time but rudimentary goalkeeping they are just not up to standard and make consistent errors. Honestly if you search Arsenal vs Aston Villa on youtube, 3/4 games vs the same team and watch how many times he makes an error. It's just big personality bravado that makes him appear better than he is.

There’s only one thing he could bring to the team and Richarlison already does that. It’s a no for me

What, if we are 1-0 up with 15 minutes to go? I very much hope he would.

Definitely good enough for us, what even is that talk he's the goalie of the year in the world.
But as some say, yes he's not good with his feet bit old way style - so again we're here with long term planning.
Who's the manager next season? Will he need the goalie to contribute in our possession play or is it enough that he stops the ball and waste time?

Think he'd be great under Conte.
Home grown is something that have to be on our mind in general.
I have Mamardashvili high on my want list, but that would be a foreign spot.

I don’t think I’ve detested a player as much as him following his shit housery at the World Cup
If he signs I’ll probably stop supporting spurs.

I apologise now and undertake to review my life, having misread your opening description of Martinez as “obnoxious and erotic, very similar to Pickford…”
