Agent Jonathan Barnett has reiterated that Tottenham Hotspur do not possess the option to re-sign Gareth Bale this summer. The 31-year-old spent the last campaign on loan at the North London outfit, contributing 16 goals from 34 appearances in all competitions.

Ally Gold was very confident that we do have an option.
And he makes a big point that he verifies all his stories with more than one source.
It was a bold claim, when all along, real claimed there was no option. We shall see.

If he'd again be on the rumoured 250k a week that we previously paid him, I'd sooner see that money put to better use on building a new squad.
He'll always be a club great but we have much bigger needs now..

He scored 16 goals and made 3 assists from 34 appearances... most of those from the bench. Spread that out over a full season and he's nearly as productive as Kane.

At this level, he's worth it.
