At this lane training thing...
Lennon with first team. JD looks fine.
No daws king hud or corluka out there
On my way back from the 'training session'. It was quite nice to see the lads in good spirit.
Also good to see Lennon doing some training though he only did about 30 mins or so.
The funniest thing was the amount of misses in front of goal by everyone. The only person who seemed to be knocking them in, was Pav.
in the pics on the OS, who is that with Bentley?

I think he's bumming Mason.
I am a Met-rx or Reflex man myself.
I just got back, so for your reading pleasure heres a run down of the day.
I got to the lane at about 10.20 so just in the nick of time.
We all had to sit in the paxton road end which was my first time there.
I had no idea we had mini cafe type thing with a seating area in White hart lane, and my first game was vs Barnsley back in like 1998-ish! (1-1 in the FA cup, I think Clive Wilson gave away a penalty and then we got battered 3-1 in the reply. Judas scored ours I think...)
On the website it promised 'activitys' which was essentially some young guy, never seen him before but I assume a youth team player, doing some crazy ball tricks by the eating area. He was pretty impressive.
Once had taken our seats, (which I noticed came with about half the leg room you get in park lane of the shelf) training began.
It started with a light jog around the pitch, essentially walking pace to warm up.
The squad was then split into 3 groups and placed on cones and they did various running, skipping drills between each other from cone to cone.
Still quite low intensity.
This was followed by little agility runs which included legs over hurdles (they stood at the side and threw their legs over, didnt actually hurdle them...) zig zagging between sticks stuck in the ground (like the kind sky sports news are so fond of showing footage of) and doing little foot work drills over tiny hurdles and through rope ladders.
Then we had a few games of possesion between the squad with different rules such as 1 touch, 2 touch and as-many-touches-as-you-want touch.
Then it was onto crossing training which basically consisted of various passes being strung together and the ball then being crossed for some one to finish.
Then striking training.
The player would pass the ball to one of the fitness guys who would pass it back then then the player would shoot.
Once that was over we had a game across half the pitch.
Lasted about 15 minutes, there were a few glimpses of some insane skills and crunching tackles.
After wards the players downed protein shakes and enegry drinks.
For you budding gym warriors out there it looked like the new lucozade protein / carb mix drinks, I am a Met-rx or Reflex man myself.
Then we had a QA with Harry, he will be watching the Barcelona Arsenal game tonight (I think it's tonight).
He didnt reveal much else, only that training intensity depends on the amount of games coming soon and amount of players available.
Then the players went off for ice baths, massages and then dinner.
It made me wish I was a footballer and I could train for 2 hours, get a massage and then go home.
Other intresting points:
-Danny Rose looked quite good
-Younes Kaboul is gigantic
-Goal keepers do not train with the others except in the game at the end and the shooting and crossing stuff
-Modric's ability to place a shoot is ridiculous, I cant believe he doesnt score more for us. He didnt blast a single shoot in shooting practice, he placed them all and I only recall 1 not going in.
-In the match at the end the team with bibs won, Pav got 2 and Eidur got 1 or 2,.
Please forgive any spelling and grammer errors, I am trying to cook as well.
I am having haddock.
