I don't know if we sold Jenas to QPR but I know we loaned Townsend.
Townsend seems a player with great future and promise and surely can act as back up to either Lennon or Bale next season.
He takes on players, seem confident and can score too.
We done well to loan him to a Premier League club although if QPR stays up we will be hearing Harry constantly speaking about it like he did with his 2points from 8 games.

I don't know if AVB rates him but surely he can save us spending on a back up for the two wingers and given a run in the team like Livermore and Carroll.

If Harry keps QPR up he will be entitled to boast about it.

But yes Andros is a prospect, and credit to Harry for recognising that he could do a job for them, though with Lennon possibly out we could do with Andros back at the Lane now...

Oh, and Jenas is most definitely off of our books.

Jenas is never coming back. You're only allowed to loan 1 player to a single Pl club.

Must admit it was awesome watching Rose vs. Townsend in the 2nd half. Both had their moments against each other and it was pretty fun stuff.

Looking forward to having both available to us next season! Makes you realise how good our squad is.

Anyone know what the QPR fans think of Townsend?

After 3 games he's got MOTM once and a great goal today (plus assists for the first and third goals) in a 3-1 win. The pre-match threads were pleased to see him back (still mystified why he didn't play last week).

But any views from QPR fans after 3 matches and not knowing him before are not particularly valid.

Spurs fans are likely to have a more valid opinionn (if they watch the QPR matches) purely because they know him a lot better.

Wasn't Andros voted their player of the month for February? Says all you need to know about his start at QPR I think...

I still hope they get relegated though. "Never had it so good"

townsend goal was a cracker and he was involved in everything that qpr did well today. jenas's goal wasn't bad either!

Really excited about him for next season.

Think that having another winger that can beat a man and cause trouble will be great. Genuine options off of the bench.

Townsend will have an important part to play next here. wEspecially since Bale is playing more centrally

Yes he was.

I think it says a lot for our academy that two of our players out on loan this season at other Premier League clubs are the top performers at their respective loan clubs. Danny Rose has been great for Sunderland, Townsend already doing great for QPR after just 1 1/2 month, and Caulker, Naughton did great at their clubs last year.

And even when we loan our top prospects out to other Premier League clubs our U21 team is dominating in the U21 Premier League. Exciting times!

Hope he helps them stay up so they can take Pritchard off us on loan and accelerate his development. Then everyone will stop going on about wilshere as England's saviour.
