For those who can't be bothered to click

Yves Bissouma
Djed Spence
Bryan Gil
Dejan Kulusevski

Dejan Kulusevski. The winger is on loan at the club from Juventus, though the buyout clause in the deal can only be activated if Tottenham finishes in the top four, according to Calcio Mercato. All parties are keen to strike a deal regardless, though there are no longer guarantees that Spurs will acquire their No 21 permanently unless their league form improves markedly.

The stuff about Kulusevski sounds like rubbish. It's more likely, imo, that us getting top four would trigger an obligation to buy.

That would be unusual.

Didn't read it, but going by the headline, it sounds more like journalistic opinion rather than news.

The Guardian say it's a 35m euros mandatory deal, providing he has played 50% of our league matches for at least 45 minutes AND we qualify for CL.

That sounds more plausible. Option deals usually become mandatory when certain criteria are met.

100% this. It says only: “Paratici may leave and if he does, Spurs may sell some players he bought while he was here.”

Brilliant.

If we don't qualify for CL, the deal can only happen if all parties agree. I suppose the significant bit there is that Juventus are likely to agree only if the price (which by definition becomes negotiable) suits them....

Re; Kulu

I’m sure I read the option became the clubs obligation to buy if during the loan period, we finished in a UCL spot.

Which we did last year. The choice was to purchase summer of 22 for 35m euros or defer to the summer of 23 for 40m euros.

Can anyone deny or confirm?
